Yeonnam-dong café revisit for classic tiramisu: Central Site Yeonnam

Central Site Yeonnam is a hand-drip brewing café on Yeonhui-ro in Mapo, Seoul. After the classic tiramisu at the Hapjeong branch turned out to be the best tiramisu ever, the writer went to the Yeonnam branch for two cups of Guatemala Entre Volcanes hand-drip and one classic tiramisu, watched the coffee being brewed at the 1st-floor brewing bar, then sat by a 2nd-floor window. The coffee was nutty and smooth and the tiramisu was big enough to share, which is reason enough to return to Central Site Yeonnam.

I'd been to the Central Site Hapjeong branch before, and the tiramisu I had there was genuinely the best tiramisu of my life..! The vibe at Hapjeong and Yeonnam feels a bit different, and Yeonnam-dong's vibe is more my style, so this time I visited the Yeonnam branch!! haha

The building outside and what is on each floor
I visited around evening, and Central Site looked even more atmospheric!!
It's a hand-drip brewing specialty shop where they brew the coffee right in front of you!
The Yeonnam branch turned out to have three floors! 1st floor is ordering and the brewing bar, 2nd floor is the hall and restroom, and 3rd floor is the rooftop.

There are quite a lot of coffee types, right!? But the staff explained everything kindly so it wasn't hard to choose haha
You can even buy these various beans to take home!! And you can smell them yourself haha
The coffee here is delicious, but the desserts are really good too ㅜㅜ There's even a fruit trifle type!
This classic tiramisu is truly my favorite!!!!!!! I've tried the Lotus one before too, but the classic tiramisu was more my style!!

There are quite a lot of hand-drip options, and you can even smell the beans first, which was so nice!
The Guatemala Entre we chose!! More of a nutty, sweet coffee than a highly acidic one!

Watching the brewing happen right before my eyes was more fascinating than I expected!! It didn't feel like just drinking a cup of coffee, but like having a whole new experience at a café — it was kind of fun haha
A subtle nutty hazelnut aroma drifted up, but since brewing still needed a bit more time, we went upstairs to wait!
2nd-floor window seats or 3rd-floor rooftop: which seat to take
On the 2nd floor there's this big window wall, perfect for sitting on a date
There was a spot with such good vibes, so we sat here haha
Go up the stairs and you reach the rooftop space!
This spot is open and nice too, but it had a different feel from the calm mood of the 2nd floor!
Here you can see the sky more!? The 2nd floor has trees in front, so it feels more like a forest view lol
How the Guatemala Entre Volcanes drip and classic tiramisu taste
Finally the hand-drip and tiramisu arrived!! Still exactly the same visual!!!
The 2nd floor is definitely more my style lol — a spot with such good vibes where you really feel the crisp autumn night air. The Guatemala hand-drip coffee was nutty and smooth, easy to drink without any pressure!
Take a sip of coffee, then a bite of tiramisu, and your hand just keeps reaching for more lol. The cream is soft and the sponge is moist, but it's not just overly sweet, so you keep eating it lol!!
And the portion was so big it was plenty for two of us!
Of all the tiramisu I've ever had, this is right up there with the best, so I came back to the Yeonnam branch after the Hapjeong branch to have it again!!!
Honestly it's coffee for the coffee and tiramisu for the tiramisu..! Each one clearly shows off its own flavor..! I can't forget this combination so I'm definitely visiting again ㅠ
Final verdict on Central Site Yeonnam
Overall the atmosphere is great, the coffee is delicious, and even the dessert is delicious, so I was pretty satisfied haha. Especially being able to watch the brewing right in front of you made it feel like more than just drinking a cup of coffee — a bit of a different experience haha. Above all, the classic tiramisu really... I think I'll come back just for this lol. If you're looking for a good-vibe café in Yeonnam-dong, I totally recommend Central Site!!
