Which drip to drink first at a Yeonnam-dong café: Central Site
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a three-floor roastery and brewing café on Yeonhui-ro in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo, Seoul. A couple with different tastes ordered one bright Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Chelbesa Washed at 9,000 won and one nutty Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed at 8,000 won, then followed the barista's advice to drink the Ethiopian first and the Guatemalan second, with a classic tiramisu on the side. Central Site Yeonnam is an easy Yeonnam-dong hand-drip café for two people who want to order different beans and compare them.

After a date in Yeonnam-dong with my husband, we stopped by Central Site Yeonnam for good coffee and dessert. Central Site Yeonnam is centered around roasting and brewing, so what stood out was being able to compare different beans and choose coffee to match your own taste. On top of that, they also serve classic tiramisu made with an authentic Italian recipe, so it was a perfect spot for the two of us, both coffee and dessert lovers. Let me walk you through the vibe at this Yeonnam-dong café, Central Site Yeonnam, along with our coffee and tiramisu review.

How to find Central Site Yeonnam, and where to park

Central Site Yeonnam is 449m from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3, about a 7-minute walk, so it's an easy stop for a Yeonnam-dong date or café tour. There's no on-site parking, so if you're driving, you'll need to use a private lot 1–2 minutes' walk from the store.
Inside the three floors of this Yeonnam-dong roastery café

Central Site Yeonnam is spread across three floors.
- ✔️ 1F: ordering and hand-drip bar
- ✔️ 2F: hall seating and restroom
- ✔️ 3F: rooftop

The first floor has the order counter along with a brewing bar, so you can watch the coffee being made up close — a nice detail for this Yeonnam-dong roastery café.

Go up the stairs and there's table seating on the second floor. From single seats with a view outside to two-tops, three-tops, and group tables, it's easy to visit with friends or a partner.
Another flight up brings you to the third-floor rooftop. It's summer right now, so it's air-conditioned, but I imagine the rooftop vibe will be even better once the weather cools down! The whole place has a warm, classic feel that's also great for photos — a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in Yeonnam-dong.
Hand-drip coffee menu and prices at Central Site Yeonnam

Central Site Yeonnam offers not just the usual café menu but a range of specialty brewing coffees and beans to try. For dessert, along with their signature tiramisu, there's Lotus tiramisu, brownie tiramisu, and trifle — plenty of desserts that pair well with coffee. That day, we ordered two specialty brewing coffees and a tiramisu.
The brewing bar where you smell the beans before you order

When you order a specialty brewing coffee, the barista measures and grinds the beans right at the first-floor brewing bar and brews it in front of you, so you get to watch the whole process up close.
After grinding the beans, they let us smell the grounds ourselves, so we got to experience the aroma of the beans even before drinking the coffee.
Two different beans, and the order the barista recommended

That day we picked two beans with clearly different characters. My husband, who likes acidity in his coffee, chose the Ethiopia Nordic Approach Yirgacheffe Chelbesa Washed for ₩9,000. It's a coffee with notes of jasmine, white peach, orange, and green grape — when we actually tasted it, it had a tea-like, bright, and clean quality.
I prefer nutty, smooth coffee over acidity, so I went with the Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed for ₩8,000. It had a nutty, smooth character with hazelnut, butterscotch, and milk chocolate notes — I liked this one much more.
Even with the same brewing method, the flavor direction really changes depending on the bean, so it was fun to order two different coffees and share sips. The barista recommended drinking the Ethiopian first and the Guatemalan afterward when having both, and following that order, the flow from the brighter coffee to the nuttier, heavier one felt really natural.
Classic tiramisu to go with the drip coffee

We also ordered tiramisu to have alongside the brewing coffee. It's a classic tiramisu made with an authentic Italian recipe, and eating it with the coffee, the sweet tiramisu and the bean's aroma complemented each other really well. The feel changes a bit depending on which coffee you pair it with, so it's worth trying the tiramisu with a few different coffees.
What I especially liked about Central Site Yeonnam, where you can enjoy good coffee and dessert together in Yeonnam-dong, was getting to look through a variety of house-roasted beans and choose a specialty brewing coffee that fits your taste. If you want to enjoy good hand-drip coffee and tiramisu together in Yeonnam-dong, give Central Site Yeonnam a visit.
