I love burgers so much that when I find a great handmade-burger spot, one visit is never enough—I keep thinking about it, haha. Today, Bas Burger, a handmade-burger place in Incheon that I had visited before, came to mind, so I returned after a long time!

A 3-minute walk from Gyeyang District Office
Bas Burger Incheon Gyeyang District Office Branch is across from Building B of Hi-Veras. It is close to Gyeyang District Office too, just about a three-minute walk away, so it is in a handy spot when you are looking for lunch nearby. It was not difficult to find last time, and I found it right away again this time, haha.
An exterior with an eye-catching red sign

The large red Bas Burger sign is easy to spot even from a distance. The exterior really has that casual American-style handmade-burger-joint feel, so you immediately feel like you came out for burgers, haha.

Also, Bas Burger Incheon Gyeyang District Office Branch connects to the Angel-in-us upstairs, making it convenient to go straight for coffee after your burger, haha.
An interior comfortable for solo meals and groups

Inside, the black and wood-toned decor gives it a clean yet comfortable atmosphere. The front is all large windows, so you can see the trees outside, and it was nice to eat at leisure without feeling boxed in.

Once you step inside, the space is much larger than it looks from outside, so it does not feel awkward whether you come with a group or eat alone. I think it would be a good option for anyone looking for a solo lunch near Gyeyang District Office.

And this is something you cannot leave out when talking about Bas Burger! You can help yourself to free potato chips from the self-service bar on one side of the restaurant, haha.
Order everything from burgers to shakes at the kiosk

There are all kinds of burgers, from classic handmade burgers with beef patties to chicken and shrimp burgers, plus sides such as fries and onion rings, a range of chicken dishes, and shakes. Every time I come, I end up debating what to order for ages, haha.

Ordering is easy at the kiosk~

After ordering, I piled up a plate of free potato chips before the food came out. They are made by thickly slicing and frying fresh Idaho potatoes from the U.S., so they are thicker than regular potato chips and have a really nice crunch. They are salty, making them perfect to nibble on while waiting for the burgers.

We chatted over the potato chips, and our order came out in no time! We ordered two sets, so the whole table was absolutely full, haha.

The Tam-yok Burger loaded with every topping
The Tam-yok Burger was the item I was looking forward to most this time! It is a burger of pure desire, with two beef patties, two slices of real cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, a fried egg, grilled onion, pickle relish, bacon, and red pepper—every topping Bas Burger offers.

Taking a big bite, the thick beef patties, melted cheese, and bacon brought out a rich, immediate meat-and-cheese flavor. With the fried egg and lots of vegetables, it was savory with some crisp texture throughout, so it was not just heavy—it was nicely balanced.

Double Bacon Cheese Burger with bold patty and cheese flavor
The second burger we ordered was the Double Bacon Cheese Burger. It has two beef patties, two slices of real cheddar cheese, low-sodium bacon, house sauce, and ketchup.

It has a simpler lineup of ingredients than the Tam-yok Burger, but that made the flavors of the beef patties, cheese, and bacon hit even more boldly, haha.

Fries, onion rings, and a Chili Mozza Cheese Bar
We kept one of the two sets with the standard fries and paid an extra ₩1,000 to switch the other to onion rings; they came together in one basket.

The fries were fried nice and crisp! Crunchy outside and fluffy inside, they went well with the burgers, haha. They were not overly seasoned, so they were good plain or dipped in sauce.

There are five onion rings, and I was surprised by how huge they were, haha. They are said to be Japanese-style crispy fried yellow onions that preserve the onion's texture; the outside was super crisp, while the onion inside was soft and sweet, giving them a charm quite different from fries.

I tried them with ranch sauce. Since it is a tangy mayonnaise-based sauce with onion, it added a rich yet fresh flavor that suited the onion rings well. Onion rings can be a little oily on their own, but the ranch sauce cut through that richness, so I kept dipping them in it, haha.

We also added a Chili Mozza Cheese Bar as a side. It is crispy fried on the outside and filled with cheese inside, with a savory, chewy bite, so if you love cheese, it would be nice to add one to share.
