The two of us ordered the Special Mixed Set! It comes to 490g total, with shoulder rack, lamb loin, and seasoned rib. They grill it all for you so you can just sit back and eat! And getting to try all three cuts for ₩54,000 felt like a reasonable price :)

The menu at Hwaro Yangmi, this go-to Gwanggyo lamb rib spot, is great — basic lamb dishes like lamb skewers, lamb ribs, lamb loin and more, plus Chinese dishes and side dishes to pair with drinks. A nice variety.

The side dishes come out neat and clean, and they bring more if you run out haha. The staff are super friendly too.

Ooh, true to a lamb skewer and lamb rib bar, they had lots of Chinese liquors too, with a good variety of drinks.

Another thing that stood out was the outdoor terrace?! So if you bring a pet, you can eat with them out there, and on a nice day it's a great spot for a group hangout, chatting away in your own little space.

Wow, just look at the color of the lamb at Hwaro Yangmi Gwanggyo... you can see the shine just from the visuals. This was my first time having lamb kept only chilled like this, and it just melted, ugh. On top of that they grilled it to the perfect doneness..!!

Haha, my boyfriend was so happy I've started eating lamb lol. He kept saying it's been ages since he's had lamb this good,, haha. Let's come back again~~!

They grill it delicately at just the right temperature and intensity so nothing burns, and while it's grilling you get to sit there happily chatting away — they even plate it onto your dish for you haha. I enjoyed it so much this time that I looked into it afterward and found out Hwaro Yangmi is a chain. Makes sense — it's already a well-known, popular lamb spot haha.

And of course, lamb this good needs a drink to go with it haha. A shot goes down real smooth with it~ My boyfriend dipped his generously in tsuyu sauce and kept exclaiming how good it was,, haha.

Lamb loin or seasoned rib: which cut suits you?

Ugh... my mouth's watering again just thinking about it. They grilled and plated the loin and rib half and half, and my boyfriend preferred the loin while I liked the rib more. I'm not really into the softer cut — I prefer lamb with more meat and thickness haha. The first piece I just dipped in plain salt, and the juices just flowed, ugh. It melts the moment it hits your mouth,,

I dipped the savory, rich lamb in various sauces and also ate it plain, and kept agonizing over wanting more. Should we just give up on the diet and choose happiness instead? we joked lol. No gamey smell, clean and more chewy-savory than greasy — I've officially entered the world of lamb... It's delicious no matter what you dip it in haha.

From lamb beginners to seasoned pros, everyone can enjoy it without any complaints. Shoulder rack on the bone, and a brazier that keeps smoke off your clothes

Look at that shoulder rack — thick meat attached right to the bone. It's a thick cut, tricky and tough to grill, but they grilled it to perfection and served it wrapped in tissue so you could pick it up and eat with your hands haha. And eating lamb usually makes you worry about the smell lingering on your clothes, but since the smoke goes into the grill, it barely stuck around — much more pleasant. Shoulder rack really is best eaten straight off the bone~!!

After finishing everything, ice cream cleans your palate of any greasiness on the way out~! There were even so many good ice cream flavors that I spent a while deciding which one to pick haha. Satisfying to the very end and so delicious — I'd recommend Hwaro Yangmi near Sanghyeon Station in Gwanggyo for anyone wanting to break their prejudice against lamb even more.
