Is there parking at Sikkkeop Yongin Gimnyangjang-jeom?
There's space for about five cars in front of the restaurant, and if you park at the public car park they cover two hours!! They also run a review event.

Is Sikkkeop good for family meals and group dinners?
The inside was bigger and cleaner than I expected, and there's group seating, so a company dinner would work too. Plenty of families and groups were there. I booked just in case, and they had saved a table for us in advance.

What's on the Sikkkeop menu, and what did we order?
The meat menu is varied, from pork belly to skirt steak and galbi-sal, and unusually there's even webfoot octopus (jjukkumi) and pork skin too. Since it was just me and my dad, and I wanted beef galbi-sal, I ordered 2 servings of beef galbi!!

There are set menus too, so you can try several things at once. I'm a small eater.. so I didn't think the two of us could finish a set and skipped it, but if you eat well, it would be good for 2–3 people.

For sides there are sausages and shrimp, which would be nice to add. Drinks are just ₩5,000, haha. Such a kind price.

What are the side dishes and self-serve bar like at Sikkkeop?
The basic side dishes are shredded scallion salad, ssam (lettuce wraps), scallion kimchi, pickled onions and kimchi!! I thought the pickled onions were seriously delicious!!!

There's a self-serve bar, so you can easily refill side dishes. It was clean too, which I liked. Veggie prices these days make my hands shake, so being able to eat them this freely is great, haha.

How were the beef galbi-sal for two and the free cheonggukjang?
If you order 2 servings of beef galbi at Sikkkeop Yongin Gimnyangjang-jeom, cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew) comes free! The color of the beef galbi-sal is no joke. The meat looked so good and the portion was generous.
The free cheonggukjang was seriously delicious..! It tastes a bit like doenjang (soybean paste stew), and it was full of ingredients. You can order more too. I scraped the pot clean, haha.

Galbi-sal cooks quickly, and it wasn't tough at all, just delicious. One bite and you know that melt-in-your-mouth feeling, right,,, I hear the pork is good too, not just the beef, so next time I'll go with everyone and try a bit of everything.
Sizzle sizzle~ The pieces are bite-size, so you could eat them without cutting. I like small bites, so I cut each piece just once.

I love galbi-sal and have eaten it at lots of places, but Sikkkeop's is really good. I'm so proud to have found a great place around Gimnyangjang Station. I only recently moved to Yeokbuk-dong in Cheoin-gu, and every time we eat out I agonize over where to go,, so on days you're craving beef galbi-sal, I recommend Sikkkeop!! Once you try it, you won't forget this taste.

I grilled kimchi too, and since the self-serve bar has oil dipping sauce (gireumjang), I grilled garlic as well!! It seems great for a family meal, or for a date with a drink or two!!

Good to know before visiting Sikkkeop Yongin Gimnyangjang-jeom
Sikkkeop Yongin Gimnyangjang-jeom accepts local currency too. Despite the Gimnyangjang name, if you take the Everline, Yongin Jungang Market Station is much closer than Gimnyangjang Station!! It would also be a nice meal on the way back from a day at Everland!!
