Jeonpo dessert café in Busan for corn tart and chestnut pudding: Hippy

Today I'm bringing you a review of Hippy, a Jeonpo café.

Jeonpo café Hippy is so hot that I'm sure most of you already know it. Whenever people ask me about Jeonpo cafés, Hippy is the one I always recommend without hesitation — a favorite among favorites. The coffee is great, and Hippy's own desserts are seriously seriously delicious. I revisited recently, so let's get into the review!

Hippy from the outside: a converted house in Jeonpo

It's truly one of the hottest of Jeonpo's hotspots — even the exterior is buzzing with people. Since it's a house converted into a café, the interior is spacious enough to feel private, which made it even better.

What Hippy's main room, annex and terrace feel like

Jeonpo café Hippy has this distinctive warm, cozy atmosphere that always leaves an impression — no matter when I come, that vibe is so lovely that I can just relax and enjoy myself.

The cute, detailed interior caught my eye too, and there were so many little props scattered around that it was fun just looking around!

The photos turn out so pretty that it's already a hot spot on Instagram. I saw so many people taking tons of pictures. I came alone this time so I didn't get to take many, but next time I'll come with friends and take a ton of shots!

Hippy is also divided into a main building and an annex — when I visited, there was a customer in the annex, so I couldn't get a photo. It's set up as a private space for just one group at a time! The vibe felt so considerate that I really wanted to show it to you, but I just couldn't bring myself to snap a photo.

There's also a terrace, which made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric — nothing was lacking.

Hippy's menu and takeout: still good after a day in the fridge

The menu boards are so, so cute. The staff were super friendly too, so it was easy to order without any pressure, and they explained the menu clearly so it was easy to understand! There are so many delicious items that the only downside is wanting to try them all (?)

Hippy tastes great fresh, but if you buy it and let it rest for a day, it's absolutely, incredibly delicious too! I highly recommend getting it to go.

By now you all know I'm a total bread and pastry fanatic, right? I have to admit it — Hippy's coffee and desserts are undeniable. Genuinely delicious! You can taste for yourself why Jeonpo café Hippy has such a good reputation 😍😍

A place that stays on your mind after you leave. There are so many dessert cafés these days, but honestly there aren't that many you actually want to revisit, right? This is a place that's delicious no matter how many times I come. I keep thinking about Hippy! With how many people keep coming back, there must be a real reason for it.

This tart is basically Hippy's signature! It comes in several flavors so you can pick whatever suits your mood — I've tried about five flavors so far, and this time I was craving corn so I went with corn! Whatever you order is so delicious that picking based on whatever you're in the mood for that day is always a good choice 😍😍

Chestnut pudding (boninbam pudding)

The dense, fudgy texture of this chestnut pudding is pure art. It's perfect for savoring the rich, sweetened chestnut flavor. A menu item you can't stop eating no matter how much you have.
