I had brunch with my parents at Hands Coffee Gumi Goa-eup Branch (핸즈커피 구미고아읍점). We enjoyed coffee and a meal in the spacious, pleasant space, then looked around the garden afterward.
Where is it, and is parking convenient?
The café is at 96 Wondae-ro, Goa-eup, Gumi-si. There was a large parking lot. According to the transportation information in the original post, it is a two-minute walk from Wonho Jeonwon Maeul bus stop after taking bus 28-1. It was also listed as about 13 minutes by car from Gumi Station and Gumi City Hall.
According to the original post, it is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with last orders at 9:20 p.m.
Are there comfortable seats for dining with parents?
Sunlight came through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making the interior feel bright and warm. The sofa where we sat was plush and soft, and the generous space between tables was comfortable.
There were plenty of seats when we visited at 1 p.m., but it became busier a little later.
What facilities are available when visiting with children?
There is a Care Kids Zone and a spacious baby room. High chairs were also available, so it looked like a good place to take a break with a baby. I visited with my parents this time, so I did not use the child-friendly facilities myself.
A pregnancy discount was also posted. According to the original post, bringing a maternity badge or maternity handbook gives 10% off all drinks.
How much are the coffee and desserts?
The listed drink prices were ₩5,000 for a long black, ₩5,800 for a café latte, and ₩6,500–₩8,000 for hand-drip coffee. Fresh fruit juice was ₩6,800, and Sangha Farm ice cream was ₩5,500.
An extra shot was ₩800 and switching to decaf was ₩500. Extra whipped cream or syrup, and switching to a vegan oat drink, were each listed at ₩500.
The dessert menu listed plain salted bread and flower-shell egg tarts at ₩3,500 each, and a cream cheese and ciabatta set at ₩6,500. Basque cheesecake was ₩6,500, and Matilda cake was ₩7,000.
When can you order brunch, and what comes in the set?

- Hands House Brunch: ₩17,300

What were the brunch and mushroom soup like?
We ordered Brunch Set D, Truffle Mushroom Soup, and one long black.
The Truffle Mushroom Soup was the item I especially liked. It was rich, with a subtle truffle aroma, so I thought even someone trying truffle for the first time could enjoy it without finding it overwhelming. The café-baked ciabatta served alongside it was soft and went well dipped generously into the soup.
Hands House Brunch came with ciabatta, vegetables, an omelet, roasted potatoes, and handmade buerwurst sausage. The sausage was salty, but it was well balanced when I layered vegetables and egg onto the ciabatta.
Can you walk around the garden after eating?
After brunch, we also looked around the garden. There were roses along the wall, as well as sunflowers and hydrangeas.
I also saw photos on Naver Place showing red flowers in bloom in April. Separate from what I saw on this visit, they made me curious about the flowers in spring and summer.
I liked being able to have brunch with my parents in comfortable seating and then look around the garden. The combination of rich mushroom soup and ciabatta was what stayed with me most from this visit.
