Can you hold a small wedding at Luonto?

At Luonto Sutonggol Branch, the second-floor indoor area connects to an outdoor space set up for small weddings. When I visited, there was actually a couple there consulting about a small wedding.

One thing that stood out about Luonto was that it's also set up as a small wedding venue. Going up to the second floor of the café, the indoor space connects to an outdoor area, and that outdoor space was quite large and beautifully arranged.

A stream-like feature, white canopy tents, and tables all came together in a way that seemed well suited to hosting a small event. When I visited, there was indeed a couple there consulting about a small wedding. So it felt less like a simple coffee café and more like a space also used for special occasions. On a nice-weather day, sitting at an outdoor table with a coffee would be really lovely too 🌿

What does the cinnamon chimney bread taste like, and how do you eat it?

Luonto's cinnamon chimney bread is bigger than you'd expect, and it comes with a three-finger plastic glove for tearing off pieces bit by bit. Dipping the warm bread into the whipped cream that comes alongside was the best part.

When our chimney bread arrived, it was quite a bit bigger than I expected. Coiled round and round on a wooden stick, it's a little confusing how to eat it at first glance, but you just put on the plastic glove that comes with it and tear off pieces little by little.

This plastic glove was actually a bit unusual too. It's not a regular plastic glove — it only fits three fingers, designed to make it easier to hold the chimney bread. When you tear bread with your hands, cinnamon powder can get all over them, but with this glove on it was much more convenient.

And the chimney bread was warm. It was warm like freshly baked bread, and cinnamon powder was evenly sprinkled over the outside, so every time you tore off a piece you got a faint whiff of cinnamon 🤎 The outside was slightly crisp while the inside got softer and fluffier, and eating it warm made it even better.

What I really loved was dipping it into the whipped cream that came alongside. Dipping the warm, cinnamon-scented bread generously into the soft, sweet whipped cream made for a combination that was even better than I expected.

After a walk in Sutonggol, is Luonto worth going back to?

After walking around Sutonggol, having an iced Americano together with warm cinnamon chimney bread at Luonto Sutonggol Branch was the perfect way to rest. I was satisfied enough that I'd want to order the chimney bread again on a future visit.

Above all, the cinnamon chimney bread I tried this time stuck with me the most. Living up to its reputation as a chimney bread landmark in Yuseong-gu, it tasted even better warm, and paired with the whipped cream, I kept reaching for more 🤎

If you want to take a walk around Sutonggol near your home and then stop by a café worry-free about parking to enjoy good coffee and a special dessert, café Luonto in Sutonggol, Daejeon, is worth a visit 🤎 We're already thinking about going back for chimney bread again after another walk in Sutonggol on a nice day.
