Interior — all bar seating, easy for solo diners too
The seating at Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch is all bar-style, so it's a comfortable spot even for solo diners!!!! There are also individual coat hooks set up behind each seat.
Hoisin sauce, hot sauce, and chili sauce are all set up at each seat, so everything's ready to go right before you eat!!

How to eat Mibundang's pho the tasty way
Before the pho comes out, read up on how to eat it deliciously!! Scoop noodles, bean sprouts, and meat into a bowl, add onion and hot sauce, and mix it all up (mixing hot sauce and hoisin sauce in a 4:1 ratio gives you a completely different flavor).

Once you sit down, they bring pickled onion, danmuji, and water like this to set at your table, and if you want more, you quietly set the empty dish on the counter and they'll refill it — that's the system!!
Our brisket-brisket point-tendon pho was on its way!!! I'm the greedy type who has to try all three cuts — brisket, brisket point, and tendon — so whenever I come to Mibundang, my favorite Dongtan pho spot, I always order this one haha.

Look at the meat and bean sprouts piled up high. And by the way, at Mibundang, my favorite Dongtan pho place, the bean sprouts and noodles are refilled for free~!!

The taste of the brisket-brisket point-tendon pho
I followed the recommended method — noodles, bean sprouts, and meat in a bowl, pickled onion topped with hoisin sauce, all mixed together!! Mibundang's broth is clean yet rich, with a savory meaty depth that comes through, and it goes so well with the noodles and meat that it's even more delicious!!

Also, if brisket point is a bit like braised meat in flavor, brisket is a completely different, thin cut with a texture unlike the brisket we usually eat — such a charming cut!!
And then there's the tendon, which really takes care of my knees!!!! The chewiness is no joke!!!!! Above all, the portion of meat is really generous!!!!! Just when you think you've finished it, there's still more meat left — all you meat lovers, gather round~~~
Mixed fried platter ₩8,500 — five kinds of fried bites
The mixed fried platter at Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch is ₩8,500 and comes with everything: sweet potato cha gio (fried spring rolls), scallop cha gio, wedding shomai, buffalo wings, and shrimp rolls~!!

The soft, crispy, dumpling-like wedding shomai is bite-sized and easy to eat,

and the soft texture of the shrimp rolls with their crispy outside pairs so well with the chili sauce — so good!!

Especially the sweet potato cha gio — it's sweet enough that literally no one should skip it, so make sure you try it!!!!! 👍🏻

Wrap-up — fast table turnover even at weekend lunch
There's a wait at weekend lunch, but table turnover is quick so you get seated fast — Mibundang, our favorite pho spot near Dongtan Station! Generous portions, and the flavor is amazing~!!
