Is parking easy at this Dongchon Resort café?

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch has its own parking lot, so it's easy to come by car. It's near Dongchon Resort, and the best thing for me was exactly this: a dedicated parking lot!
When you come out to Dongchon Resort or drive to a café, you often end up hunting for parking first. Having a dedicated lot made the visit easy.
Floors 2 to 4: inside Hands Coffee and the Geumho River view

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is a large café that uses floors 2 through 4.

There's an elevator, so it's easy to get around.

One of the charms of this place is the pretty view. You can drink your coffee looking out over Dongchon Resort and the Geumho River, which is a nice way to relax away from a stuffy interior.

Sitting by the window is especially good for enjoying the scenery with a cup of coffee. On a nice day, just resting while looking at a view like this is a mood-lifter, right? haha

Sofa seats, group tables, floor seating: is there room for a baby?
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch has a good variety of seating: sofa seats, group tables, floor seating and an outdoor terrace. I liked that variety, from sofas where you can lean back comfortably to group tables for several people.

It's good for coming alone for coffee or chatting with a friend, and it also seems fine as a meeting place for a bigger group.

And there's a seat that people visiting with a baby will be especially glad to see: floor seating that's good to sit on with a baby! When you go out with a baby who can't sit in a chair yet, it can be hard to know where to sit. With floor seating available, it looked like a more comfortable time with a baby.
Restroom, diaper-changing table and outdoor terrace
The restroom is inside the café, so it's easy to use. Unfortunately there's no diaper-changing table :(
There's also an outdoor terrace, nice for enjoying the open-air atmosphere on a good day. The pretty view and the variety of seats mean you can use the place to suit your taste or the purpose of your visit, which is a plus.

Hands Coffee drip coffee, plus beans and drip bags for sale
I hear Hands Coffee is also famous as a great spot for drip coffee.

At Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch you can buy not just beans but also drip bags and other coffee products separately. If you like hand-drip coffee or want to enjoy a bean you like at home, these are worth a look.

The day I went, the barista was brewing drip coffee too, and the aroma was so good that it made me want a drip coffee.
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch menu and desserts

The menu is really varied, from hand drip coffee to espresso and blended coffee, dutch coffee, tea, milk, and fruit and blended drinks.

There are 3 kinds of beans prepared for drip coffee, and you can smell the beans before choosing.

Desserts are displayed right next to the counter, and there's quite a variety.

What stood out most was the waffles!!! Hands Coffee is a waffle hotspot too, you know? If you like waffles, definitely try them!

They sell brunch menus too. I had already eaten a meal so I couldn't try brunch, but I'd like to next time!
Drip coffee with my in-laws, served in elegant cups

My in-laws ordered drip coffee.

The drip coffee at Hands Coffee comes in a really elegant cup. I'm someone who feels happy just from a pretty cup
Ethiopian Hambela drip coffee

The first coffee I tried was the Ethiopian Hambela drip coffee. When you order drip coffee at Hands Coffee, they give you a paper describing the bean variety. It's fun to read about the bean and sip while tasting the flavors written there. Personally I enjoyed it a lot! If you like drip coffee, I highly recommend the Hambela!!
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe drip coffee: how does it compare with Hambela?

The second coffee was the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe drip coffee. I tried coffee brewed from both beans, Hambela and Yirgacheffe, and the Yirgacheffe had a little more acidity than the Hambela.
Even with drip coffee, switching beans lets you compare the charm of each, right? I was happy with both, so I really felt that Hands Coffee is a great drip coffee spot. If you like coffee, check which beans are ready that day and pick one in your usual style, or try a new bean.
Hands handmade cookie, a good match for drip coffee

I also had a Hands handmade cookie with the coffee. The drip coffee and cookie combo turned out better than I expected. I like sweet drinks with sweet desserts, but I also like pairing drip coffee with a sweet dessert like a cookie. Again this time, the cookie made the coffee even more enjoyable.
Autumn seasonal vanilla brûlée latte

It felt like a shame to drink only drip coffee, so I also ordered the autumn seasonal vanilla brûlée latte. Since it's only available this season, I was extra curious. Unlike drip coffee, where you enjoy the flavor of the bean, it's a good pick when you're craving a sweet latte.

Even people who love drip coffee might find a sweet seasonal drink like this a nice change of pace. If you like trying new menu items each season, check out the seasonal drinks when you visit :)
Who Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is best for
If you're looking for a café with a pretty view and good coffee near Dongchon Resort in Daegu, I'd recommend Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch. It has its own parking lot, so it's easy to visit, and the spacious floors 2 to 4 have sofa seats, group tables, floor seating and a terrace, so it suits many purposes. With floor seating and an elevator, it also seems like a decent café for a family outing with a baby.
Above all, I was happy because both the Ethiopian Hambela and Yirgacheffe drip coffees were so good. Adding the autumn vanilla brûlée latte and the cookie made it even better. If you love drip coffee, pick your bean and try it, and if you like sweet desserts, definitely check out the waffles!
