Daegu wedding hall with a violet forest aisle: Stadium Convention

I'm back with a review of a Suseong, Daegu outdoor wedding hotspot I visited recently as a guest: Stadium Convention Wedding (스타디움 컨벤션웨딩).

Stadium Convention Wedding is known for having both an outdoor standalone hall, the dream of many brides, and an indoor hall, so you can hold a lovely ceremony without worrying about the weather. It apparently carries the title of No. 1 in a Daegu wedding hall satisfaction survey, and it lived up to that, from the parking to the meal. Let me start my honest review!

Where is Stadium Convention Wedding, and how is the parking?

Stadium Convention Wedding is at 180 Yunibeosiadeu-ro, Suseong-gu, Daegu, and the outdoor parking lot is at the front plaza near the Daegu Sports Memorial Hall. The lot is seriously huge: dozens of buses could turn around in it (dozens of buses, no problem!).

Parking stress is the biggest headache when going to a wedding, but here there was none at all. Before and after the ceremony, guests can stroll around with relatives and friends they haven't seen in ages, which makes it a special spot for a little outing too.

The atmosphere of the standalone hall, indoor and outdoor

The first thing that grabbed me when I walked into the hall was the bright, lush fresh-flower decoration. It's a standalone hall, not a factory-style wedding line, so the ceremony feels private and relaxed, which is a big plus for the couple and the guests alike.

The virgin road (aisle) was filled with fresh greenery, lights and violet flowers, and it felt like being invited to a wedding held by forest fairies. The interior blends indoor and outdoor charm, and the photos came out really well!

How was the guest buffet at Stadium Convention Wedding?

The buffet had a live Japanese counter, Chinese, Western and Korean hot dishes, and fruit and caprese desserts, and the quality was amazing. As the saying goes, even Mount Kumgang is better after a meal! Meal cost and quality are among the most important things when choosing a wedding hall, right? To the writer, the meal price and hall rental fee seemed very reasonable too.

A live Japanese counter with an overwhelming look

The moment I walked into the buffet hall, I couldn't believe my eyes: a huge whole fish! Right in the middle of the live Japanese counter, a giant fish radiating freshness was set out on ice, and the chefs prepared fresh dishes on the spot while every guest gasped and took photos. Mussels, snow crab, shrimp and other seafood were piled fresh on ice too.

Neat, tasty hot dishes and main plates

The hot food was well stocked across Chinese, Western and Korean dishes. The glossy sweet-and-sour pork (tangsuyuk) in particular was topped prettily with broccoli, bell pepper and sliced almonds, and it was crispy and really good.

I piled my plate with braised short ribs (galbijjim), bulgogi, freshly fried crispy tempura-style items, stir-fried udon, grilled mushrooms and steak, and eating it near the outdoor terrace was pure bliss. Every dish was seasoned just right and kept warm, which I loved.

Refreshing fruit caprese dessert

Even the dessert finish was perfect! There was fresh fruit like sweet watermelon, pineapple, fresh grapefruit, dragon fruit and grapes, plus a classy-looking tomato caprese salad and finger foods, so I could end the meal feeling clean and refreshed.

Verdict: who should consider Stadium Convention Wedding?

From the beautiful mood of the outdoor and standalone hall to the roomy parking, and above all the high-quality buffet the guests all praised!

The meal price and rental fee are reasonable too, so I'd strongly recommend Stadium Convention Wedding to couples-to-be looking for an outdoor wedding or a pretty standalone hall in Daegu. Even as a guest, I was totally satisfied with this wedding hall! 💍🤍
