Four-floor Daegu café with autumn leaves at Dongchon: Hands Coffee
In short
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch (핸즈커피 동촌유원지점) is a large café occupying an entire four-story building at Dongchon Resort in Dong-gu, Daegu. On an autumn day the writer ordered a choco banana waffle and an iced latte at the 2nd-floor kiosk. While waiting, the writer explored every floor, from the 3rd-floor glass wall framing the turning leaves to the 4th-floor terrace. What kind of café is Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch?
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch (핸즈커피 동촌유원지점) is a big café in Dongchon Resort, Dong-gu, Daegu, and it uses a whole four-story building by itself. On such a lovely autumn day, I headed to Dongchon Resort, famous for its great river views and open scenery, to spend a relaxed time.
The branch is huge and very popular, so I arrived with high expectations, and the sheer scale from the entrance caught my eye. It's one of Daegu's most talked-about big cafés, so the trip there wasn't boring at all, just full of excitement.
Because the café takes up an entire four-story building, each floor has its own charm, which is a big plus. The whole building looks grand yet stylish, and I really felt the trip from afar was worth it.
Is parking easy at Hands Coffee Dongchon?
The parking lot is very large and well laid out, so I could park comfortably even at a busy time. If you're looking for a café with easy parking, I don't think you can do much better.

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch menu and how to order
The menu was packed with choices for all ages, from brunch sets to new autumn items and sweet ice cream. When coffee alone feels like not enough, adding brunch or a dessert looked really appealing.

The building is tall, so getting around might sound like a worry, but there's an easy-to-use elevator inside. People with strollers or who have trouble walking can move between floors comfortably.

To order, I went up to the 2nd floor and used the kiosk. You can browse the menu on the screen at your own pace, so it was a convenient, smart system.

2nd-floor interior and window view
The 2nd floor stands out for its upscale interior and the view out the window. The moment I walked in, I couldn't help exclaiming how classy the interior was. From the lighting to the props to the furniture layout, you can tell care went into it, and I felt well looked after the whole time.
With the great view from the 2nd-floor windows and the lovely overall mood, I felt healed before I even sat down. Looking out at the open view, I wondered if there's any other big café in Daegu better for relaxing. I finished ordering a choco banana waffle and one iced latte, then went to look around the 3rd and 4th floors while waiting for the drink.

Autumn leaves through the 3rd-floor glass wall
The 3rd floor has a quiet, refined mood, with autumn leaves visible beyond the glass wall. The whole floor feels calm, stylish and cozy, perfect for a chat or for focusing.
The glass-wall view in particular, with green leaves and red autumn leaves turning at the same time outside, was so pretty that the café felt like a set from a gorgeous drama.

4th-floor sofa seats and outdoor terrace
The 4th floor has sofa seats, table seats and an outdoor terrace together. Upstairs, comfy sofa seats and table seats are mixed in a cute way, so you can settle in wherever suits you.
There's also a terrace you can step out onto, so I got to enjoy the cool air and total relaxation.

How were the choco banana waffle and iced latte?
The choco banana waffle and iced latte I ordered were ready when I came back down from touring the floors. They looked so pretty and appetizing that I couldn't help gasping.

The choco banana waffle suited a cool autumn day so well. Eating that sweet waffle, "I'm so happy" just slipped out of my mouth.
And Hands Coffee's rich, nutty latte is delicious whenever I have it.

Chunky chocolate chips are scattered over the sweet bananas, adding a fun crunch. I also scooped up plenty of chocolate ice cream and soft whipped cream to eat with it.

Sip the latte, eat the waffle, look at the view: a happy time for both eyes and mouth.

Would I go back?
Everyone knows the waffles at Hands Coffee are good, and next time I plan to come back for brunch. A place to feel relaxed, a place to feel autumn: I highly recommend Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch!
