Why is it a good meeting spot between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station?
Bakerist Brown sits between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, so it's an easy café for meeting a friend whichever station you come from. You know those times in Gangnam when you can't decide where to meet? 😊 This place, which I visited recently, solves exactly that problem.

With such easy access, it's great for meeting friends and even works as a date spot! The atmosphere is lovely too, and it put me in a good mood the moment I walked in. If you like pretty cafés and desserts, I'd really like you to stop by, so let me introduce it!

Bakerist Brown exterior and terrace atmosphere
From the outside, the terrace seating is decorated in lush greenery with a European feel, so your eyes are drawn to it even as you walk past. The sentimental mood is everywhere, and it was so pretty for photos. No wonder so many people recommend it as a Gangnam Station dessert café.

From the basement to the 3rd floor: is there enough seating?
Bakerist Brown is a large bakery café operating from the basement up to the 3rd floor, so there are lots of seats, which I liked. It's roomy enough for a group gathering, and I liked that even a big party can use it comfortably.
The white-toned interior and big windows let in plenty of natural light, so it felt really bright and clean. Photos come out beautifully, and it's a great space to sit for a long chat.

Bakerist Brown breads and desserts
Bakerist Brown has a range of baked goods, and the dessert selection was really varied too.

From pastries to sand cookies, brunch dishes and all kinds of cream lattes, everything looked so good that choosing took quite a while. I was even more excited to hear that everything is handmade from start to finish with fresh French butter and quality ingredients.

One look at the display case and I understood why so many people seek out Bakerist Brown as a top bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station. It was packed with tempting breads, and I couldn't just walk past.

What we ordered
Here's what I ordered at Bakerist Brown this time.
- Salted cream coffee
- Americano
- Mango croissant
- Sand cookies in 6 flavors

How does the salted cream coffee taste?
The salted cream coffee, the one I was most looking forward to, was really satisfying, as you'd expect from Bakerist Brown's best-selling item. A subtle saltiness on top of soft, sweet cream went wonderfully with the coffee. The sweet yet nutty flavor lingered in my mouth, the kind of taste you keep thinking about.

Is the Americano very acidic?
The Americano at Bakerist Brown isn't strongly acidic, so anyone can drink it comfortably, and it went really well with the desserts.

The mango croissant I recommend most
The one I really want to recommend is the mango croissant. Crisp, flaky layered croissant packed with sweet mango made me happy just looking at it. The nutty flavor of the butter and the fresh mango go so well together that I finished it in no time.😋

Sand cookies in 6 flavors
Of course I couldn't skip the sand cookies (cream-filled sandwich cookies)! I ordered 6 flavors, and each had its own character, so picking among them was fun.

The cookies are nicely crisp yet soft, and the cream inside isn't overly sweet, which makes them perfect with coffee. If you visit with friends, I recommend ordering several flavors and sharing.

Mango bingsu, brunch and other menu items and service
Bakerist Brown also has a range of coffee drinks, a refreshing mango bingsu (Korean shaved ice), and new brunch dishes, so I'd love to come back next time for brunch. The staff were friendly, and the shop was kept clean, so I enjoyed my time there the whole way through.

Is it also easy to reach from Sinnonhyeon Station and Yeoksam Station?
Bakerist Brown is between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, so it was really convenient for meeting friends. When you're wondering "Where should we meet?", the midpoint location makes it a perfect meeting spot. With such good access, it's an easy visit for people looking for a café near Sinnonhyeon Station, and also for those looking for a café near Yeoksam Station.
