Baut is a three-floor brunch café about a 10-minute walk from Dongdaegu Station, and you can park in the alley next to the entrance. It has Wi-Fi and an indoor restroom, and groups are welcome too.

Baut, the brunch café near Dongdaegu Station, gave off such a good vibe from the outside that I found it right away haha. It stands out so prettily that you can spot it from far away. I think it took about 10 minutes on foot from Dongdaegu Station! 😇

What's on the Baut menu?

When I visited in July 2026, the Baut menu had brunch items like soup, salads, hummus and sandwiches. There were plenty of brunch options to choose from, which I loved, and there are desserts too, like pudding and cake!

I ordered the season salad, a focaccia sandwich, a café latte and a hibiscus berry ade. While we wait for the food, let's go on a little café tour 🏃‍♀️💨

What's the atmosphere on each floor of Baut?

Floor 1: neutral base with red accents

The first floor has neutral-toned walls and floors as a base, with high-saturation furniture and red as the accent color. The accents catch your eye without being overdone, and the owner's interior sense really shines through. What a tasteful café•••!

Floor 2: natural light and roomy tables

Like the first floor, the second floor gets natural light through big windows. It feels soft and warm. Brunch photos turn out great here too hehe. The tables aren't crammed together; there's some breathing room, so it never felt stuffy, which I liked! With so many seats, a solo brunch for lunch near Dongdaegu Station works fine too ~

Floor 3: group seating at the back

This is the third floor. Every floor feels stylish and clean, right? There's group seating at the back of floor 3, so Baut is a brunch café near Dongdaegu Station I'd recommend for group get-togethers too. Wherever you point the camera, it looks pretty ~_~

I sat at a cute yellow table haha. A colorful season salad and ade that fit the weather, plus the brunch classics, a café latte and a focaccia sandwich. My mouth is watering just looking at it 🤤

How does the Baut focaccia sandwich taste?

The Baut focaccia sandwich has tomato pesto, red onion, salami, cheese and arugula (rocket) in focaccia, and it has a real authentic Italian sandwich feel 🌊 Salty salami, rich and soft cheese, the pleasant bitterness of arugula, and red onion that keeps a nice crunch. Every part works together. Baut is a brunch spot near Dongdaegu Station worth the hype!!

It had a slightly spicy kick that made it unique, and I think that's why it stayed delicious to the very end~ I just picked up the sandwich and ate it with my hands, and nothing dripped or oozed out, which was even better.. haha. I ate it neatly!

What's in the Baut summer season salad?

The Baut season salad comes with seasonal fruit, arugula, romaine, ricotta cheese, radicchio, prosciutto, walnuts and almonds, plus dressing. On my July visit the seasonal fruit was nectarine. It had a refreshing summer feel, and the peach was sweet and perfectly ripened 🥹

The dressing was bright and tangy, and it suited my taste so well that I scraped the bowl clean.. 😋 It went nicely with the mild, bitter arugula and radicchio too! With so many ingredients in it, the flavors were still well balanced, a generous bowl.

Baut's hibiscus berry ade and latte

I'm a hardcore iced Americano person, but since I'd found a pretty brunch café, and it's been so hot lately.. I ordered a cool hibiscus berry ade and a rich café latte.

The hibiscus berry ade is a nicely balanced mix of tea and ade that isn't too sweet. The first sip is tangy tea, and berry flavor lingers at the end. It went well with brunch too. Good choice!!

Is Baut near Dongdaegu Station worth another visit?

1000000% I'd go back!!!! I really want to go again. The brunch was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. With friends, on a date near Dongdaegu Station, or a solo brunch, Baut is a brunch café near Dongdaegu Station I'd recommend for any occasion 😖
