Why I chose Yeojin Hair Atelier, a hair salon in Suseong-gu, Daegu

I wanted a fresh look for summer, so I visited Yeojin Hair Atelier Daegu Suseong (여진헤어아뜰리에 대구수성점) in Suseong-gu, Daegu. I've had a lot of bad experiences at new salons, so this time I searched carefully before choosing~

Parking and how to get to Yeojin Hair Atelier Daegu Suseong

You can use the building's parking lot for free. If there's no space, call the salon and they'll help, so keep that in mind!! There's also a bus stop right in front, so it was easy to find.

• By car: 69 Cheongsu-ro, Suseong-gu, free parking in the building lot (if it's full, call the salon; valet parking is reportedly possible)
• Subway: Line 3, Hwanggeum Station, Exit 1, 15-minute walk
• Bus: stops across from the Korea Communications Agency / Deulan-gil Intersection — buses 349, 403, 410, Suseong 4, Suseong 6, Circular 3, and 0 (Cheongdo Bus)

The salon is spacious, with roomy spacing between seats

Take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. The inside was spacious and pleasant.

The chairs aren't squeezed together either, so I could get my treatment in comfort 👍

They also set out cold drinks and snacks. I had the peach & passion fruit black tea, and it wasn't too sweet, so it was delicious.

How the consultation went before the slick perm

Before starting, I filled out a chart in advance and had a short consultation about the style I wanted.

When I described the style I wanted, they told me what was possible with my hair's current condition, so I decided on a slick perm without agonizing over it!

Curly hair with no layers: what changed after the slick perm and layered cut

The slick perm was done in a separate space further inside, so the long hours passed without any discomfort. My hair before had almost no layers, and with the curl it was rather frizzy.

After the slick perm and a light layered cut, the curl was completely gone, and the layers made my hair feel lighter!!

My hair texture got so much better too!! You can clearly see it in photos, and I can feel it when I look in the mirror as well, so I'm really happy with it~

Was it comfortable for an introvert who dislikes small talk?

For anyone in Suseong-gu, Daegu, getting a slick perm or layered cut, I recommend the designer at Yeojin Hair Atelier Daegu Suseong! I'm an introvert, so too much small talk during treatment is a burden for me,, but she only talked to me as much as felt comfortable, and answered kindly whenever I had questions, so I could scroll on my phone and relax through the treatment. I loved that 🤍
