Boys' hair always seems to grow shaggy again right after you just got it cut — is it just my house, or does this happen to everyone?

Thinking about it, it had been about two months since his last cut. My son hates getting his hair cut and is the type to declare "I'm never coming back here" the moment something's slightly off, so picking a salon is a whole ordeal. 26do Hair, a Daegu hair salon, is on the 2nd floor of the Lotte The First commercial building in Suseong 1-ga. I actually know this neighborhood pretty well haha, so I found my way up super easily.

Open the door and a clean waiting area greets you first.

There were several designers on staff, so there were multiple chairs to choose from.

The window seats looked really appealing, but we arrived late in the evening so we didn't get to properly sit there ^^

So here's my son's before shot. Exactly two months since his last cut, just grown out shaggy and calm-looking. This time he said he wanted a perm, of all things, so we booked ahead at 26do Hair and went.

Since the shop is located in the Lotte Castle commercial building where lots of families live, they said they actually get a lot of child customers. That's why they had a kids' gown ready too.

They also had a booster seat cushion ready for him. Looking at his shaggy back view, I was curious how it would change.

Designer Seyeon, who had such a warm impression, did the cut first and then moved on to the perm. She had such a lovely expression that just watching her made me feel good too. It's hard to keep smiling all day while dealing with people, but Seyeon's smile was truly beautiful. ♥

Wow, so much neater already — I loved it! And then the perm began. I'm not a picky person and I usually don't have big requests, just "clean and pretty" is enough, and she just knew exactly what to do haha.

Since his fringe had some layers, she left the back unpermed and gave just the front a C-curl.

How long did the fringe perm take at 26do Hair?

Her hands were seriously fast. I always thought perms took over 2 hours, but she finished the entire process in exactly 1 hour 30 minutes. All the rods went in and then heat processing began.

She brought us snacks during the heat processing too. It was only my son getting his hair done, but she gave me snacks as well. Seyeon is so kind........ ♥

Even though I visited pretty late in the evening, there were quite a few people who looked like regulars (like the ones chatting about how much was left on their prepaid treatment package).

My son was smiling from ear to ear for once. You know how hard it is to satisfy kids. There was even a time before when he came out of a salon so upset, saying, "I look like a monkey. How do I make my hair grow fast?" But today he clearly loved it, because he kept on smiling haha.
