Anseong Gongdo café open until 11pm: ciabatta sandwich, Chat Baker

Hi, this is Eunss! Last week I went to Starfield in Anseong, Gyeonggi, and searched for cafés nearby — that's how I ended up at Chat Baker, a large brunch and bakery café that's well known between Pyeongtaek and Anseong.

Where is Chat Baker, and what are the hours and parking like?

Chat Baker is a large brunch and bakery café located at 4391 Seodong-daero, 3-dong 101-ho, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open daily from 09:00 to 23:00, last order at 22:00, and brunch/pasta orders are available from 11:00 to 20:00.

The parking lot was impressively spacious and easy to use. Since it's open until 11pm, it's a large café in Anseong Gongdo you can visit even late in the evening.

Chat Baker had all kinds of freshly made bakery items and desserts. What stood out was that they weren't sitting out in the open — they were displayed inside cases, which felt much more hygienic and clean.

And the desserts on display outside were individually wrapped, which I really loved. Food displayed unwrapped in open spaces can sometimes feel a bit off hygienically, so Chat Baker's approach was spotless through and through.

They had a lot of unusual, one-of-a-kind cakes you don't see everywhere. They looked so luxurious, the kind that would make any celebration feel extra special.

The individual wrapping was really impressive. They were also selling bingsu (shaved ice dessert) for the hot summer, priced between ₩18,000 and ₩35,000.

Inside, Chat Baker has high ceilings and a pleasant, open space. The big windows let in sunlight that makes the café feel warm and cozy.

This is my favorite spot — the floor seating on the second floor. It's a comfortable area to enjoy with kids or to chat over drinks. A great place to relax and unwind.

With two floors and a wide range of seating, the space itself is spacious and versatile. Since it's near Anseong Farmland, it's popular with families too.

It's already a well-known café in Pyeongtaek and Anseong and always busy, but the comfortable atmosphere and delicious food make it a place you'll want to visit again.
