Camping restaurant in Anseong with kids' water play: Gogiyogi Anseong

I visited Gogiyogi, located in Wongok-myeon, Anseong. It's close enough from Pyeongtaek too, so it was an easy trip to make, and it turned out to be a really satisfying day.

What kind of place is Gogiyogi Anseong?

Gogiyogi operates as a day-use glamping-style BBQ restaurant. Each zone has a large tent like the ones you'd see at a glamping site, and inside every tent there's a table and chairs as standard. The on-site store carries all the ingredients and food you need, so there's no need to lug groceries in — you can basically just show up empty-handed.

Every tent also has air conditioning and a ventilation fan, so you can enjoy yourself comfortably no matter the weather. Being able to grill barbecue in a private, separated space was especially nice.

Can kids play in the water at Gogiyogi Anseong?

The most impressive thing about Gogiyogi was that there's a dedicated water play area. That's not something you'd normally expect at a barbecue place, so being able to enjoy water play with my kid really boosted how satisfying the visit felt. Even on a hot day, it was an environment where the kid could have a blast without ever getting bored.

What else is there for kids besides the water play zone?

Beyond the water play area, there's also a sand playground, a wide sports field, and a leisure hall with arcade games, billiards, table tennis, and badminton. There was such a wide range of things for kids to enjoy that while the adults were grilling, the kids could go off and play to their heart's content in another space.

Thanks to how well-equipped these extra facilities were, it wasn't just a place to eat barbecue and leave — you could spend the whole day there without ever getting bored.

After enjoying the water play, we could use the shower facilities. Washing up after water play with a kid is always a bit of a chore, but having showers on site meant we could wrap things up comfortably without worrying about that. It was impressive that even with a camping concept, a restaurant like this paid attention to details like this.

Prices and what the tent fee covers

Overall the food prices were on the affordable side. Usually private, camping-concept spaces like this tend to be priced high, but at Gogiyogi you could enjoy all these facilities and services at a reasonable price. The tent fee includes charcoal, grill, bottled water, and disposables, so there wasn't much of a burden from extra costs either.

Can you bring your dog to Gogiyogi Anseong?

Gogiyogi is also a BBQ restaurant you can visit with your pet. Thanks to the private tent structure, you can enjoy a comfortable meal with your dog without worrying about other guests — a big plus. It seemed like a great outing spot not just for families, but for anyone bringing along a pet as well.

How Gogiyogi Anseong works as a one-day family outing

Gogiyogi was an all-in-one space where you could enjoy a camping atmosphere, barbecue, water play, and a variety of play facilities all at once. Playing in the water with my kid, then the sand playground, then a round of badminton, and finishing off with a clean shower at the end — it made for a truly perfect day-trip course.

On top of that, the prices are affordable, so I'd strongly recommend it to anyone near Anseong or Pyeongtaek who wants to enjoy a camping vibe, especially families wanting to make the most of a day out with kids.
