Andamiro Pancake (안다미로팬케이크) in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan, is a soufflé specialty shop tucked into the Sinbu-dong food alley. The kids' first-semester final exams are finally over, so I came to Sinbu-dong with my child in a light, carefree mood~ We shopped at Shinsegae department store in Cheonan, bought a gift at Artbox, had a meal, and then I looked around for dessert and found a soufflé specialty shop right in the food alley. Andamiro Pancake, here we go!

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan: opening hours and parking

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is at 11 Meokgeori 4-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungnam, on the second floor. It is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 13:00 to 22:00, and closed every Tuesday.

There is no private parking lot, so you park in the Sinbu-dong public parking lot or in the Sinbu-dong alleys. We parked at Shinsegae department store~ If you install the Shinsegae app, you get a free 3-hour coupon twice a month, haha.

Go up the stairs to the second floor and you reach Andamiro, the Cheonan pancake and soufflé specialty shop.

Inside Andamiro Pancake: the atmosphere

The building itself is old, but once you step inside it is a whole different space. It is wide and clean, and the tables are spaced far apart, so it felt quiet and comfortable.

How to order at Andamiro Pancake and what we got

You pick and order on a tablet at the counter where the staff are~! Out of all the options, we ordered the Andamiro soufflé, the double choco croffle (waffle-style croissant) and an iced americano. You can add ice cream to the soufflé, but the croffle already comes with ice cream on top, so we skipped the extra.

After ordering you go to your seat and wait, and the staff bring it to your table, which is so convenient~ Along the way I could see a staff member making the soufflé, so I took photos.

How long does the soufflé take at Andamiro Pancake?

Andamiro's soufflé is mixed and baked the moment you order, so it is a dessert that takes a little time. So much care goes into it~! Pancakes are also mixed when you order. Nothing is made in advance, so everything arrives completely warm, and because it is made on the spot it tastes even better.

Everything is cooked to order, so it takes about 20–30 minutes~ Just wait patiently after ordering, and you will get to meet a delicious soufflé.

Window seats, group tables and a photo zone

At Andamiro Pancake you can sit by the window overlooking the Sinbu-dong street and zone out for a good while, healing. White and wood-tone interior with lots of little green plants ^^ It is a space where you can relax with coffee and dessert.

There are group seats too, and photo spots here and there, which I liked. Thanks to the plants dotted around the café, it feels really comfortable.

How each item at Andamiro Pancake tasted

Iced americano

The iced americano here tastes cool and clean. The cup is big and there is more coffee than I expected, a good size to enjoy with dessert.

Double choco croffle

The double choco croffle is a chocolate croffle with Nutella and Valrhona chocolate working together nicely. On top of the freshly mixed and baked croffle sits a scoop of vanilla ice cream! So sweet, my mouth was full of happiness.

Andamiro soufflé pancake

This is the Andamiro soufflé pancake we ordered.

The Andamiro soufflé is the signature menu item, topped with whipped cream and seasonal fresh fruit, and it tastes even better eaten together. A thick soufflé pancake, good just to look at.

The cherries, bananas, blueberries, kiwi and pineapple were all delicious, every single one. The freshly baked soufflé cake was so moist and soft inside that on the first bite I went, huh~?? What is this~?? Completely, totally soft~

It jiggles and wobbles, then vanishes the moment it hits your mouth. I really recommend this menu item with the fruit~
