Sinnonhyeon 24-hour café for knitting at the bar table: Selecto Coffee

Today I want to share a café I found near Sinnonhyeon Station that's just perfect for studying or working. It's Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch!

I had some awkward free time after a dentist checkup and wasn't sure where to spend it, so I ended up getting a solid knitting session done at Selecto Coffee :)

This place runs as a staffed café during the day and smartly switches to unmanned service at night and dawn — a true 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station. The space is huge and there's even a printer/copier, so it seems like a really reliable spot for people studying or working haha. Perfect to come to if you need a space to focus late at night!

Of course there are also these atmospheric spots haha. The weather's been so nice lately that sitting outside during the day just feels amazing haha.

Where are the best seats for studying or working

Overall, Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has an open, clean interior. The tables are spaced generously and there were lots of seats! These photos were taken in the evening when it was quiet, but during the day it was so busy there were barely any seats left! Guess I was the only one who didn't know about this good spot haha.

Above all, the seating layout is well thought out — especially the seats in the left back corner, which look perfect for working solo on a laptop or studying. I bet the competition for those seats is fierce!

How much food is there — snacks, sandwiches, even salads

Studying or working makes your blood sugar drop, right? Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon had such a wide variety of snacks haha. The 50% off sale was very tempting...

There's a whole variety of sandwiches, plenty substantial enough for a meal!

They even have salad!!! I really love that about this place 🤍

Geisha blend vs mocha blend: what's the taste difference

Another big plus about Selecto Coffee is the wide range of bean choices. I ordered two americanos differently — one as a 'geisha blend' and the other as a 'mocha blend'!

They also have a huge variety of other drinks, so there's really no limit to the options.

And why are the cakes so cheap? They probably don't make them in-house, but the quality still looked great, and the price was really nice for what you get!

There was so much delicious-looking stuff it was honestly hard to choose...

Get in my mouth already.

The geisha blend on the left definitely had a pale reddish tint, and just like the description said, I could taste a light, refreshing floral note. The mocha blend had that familiar, nutty flavor we all know!

With so many bean options, it's really fun picking based on your own taste haha.

Chicken sandwich: is it enough for a full meal

I picked the chicken sandwich to load up on protein! I'd skipped lunch and by 4pm I just couldn't not eat a sandwich haha.

The fresh lettuce and vegetables were satisfying right away — the crunchy texture of the veggies was great, and the dressing was generous enough that even the last bite stayed moist. What I loved most was the bread — a ciabatta that was soft outside and chewy-moist inside. It was more than enough to count as a full meal!

I ate well and then relaxed into my knitting.

Selecto Coffee was such a good café that I would've stayed longer if I'd had the time. I'd love to come back again if the chance comes up. It's great for eating while studying, and you can drop by comfortably even late at night or at dawn! I really recommend Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon as a great 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station 🙌
