The exterior already has that Italian feel, and the inside is cozy too, so the whole meal felt comfortable.

The wood oven right at the entrance
As soon as you walk in, you see the wood oven, and watching the pizzas actually baking made me even more excited.

The faint smell of baking bread drifting through the air was seriously appetizing. I could see why so many people come looking for the best Italian pasta spot in Sinbu-dong. The tables are set up to seat anywhere from 2 to 6 people.
What we ordered and the receipt review event
Ding's family pick
We ordered the gorgonzola wood-fired pizza and the rosé pasta, plus the calzone bread, which you can add for just 3,000 won — and that turned out to be a genius move.

We took part in the receipt review event. Thanks to the review event, we even got a free drink, which made the value feel really satisfying. Definitely try joining the receipt review event yourself — it gets you a free drink to enjoy alongside your meal. It's a small event, but the satisfaction was pretty high.
How was the gorgonzola wood-fired pizza
The gorgonzola pizza came out first, fresh from the wood oven, and the edge of the dough was seriously crisp. The outside was crunchy while the inside stayed chewy, and the dough itself had a nutty, savory flavor. Dipping it generously in honey, the sweetness paired perfectly with the salty cheese.

The cheese was piled on generously too, so every bite was full of savory richness, and the smoky flavor unique to a wood oven added something that set it apart from regular pizza. The moment I took a bite, I understood exactly why it's called one of the best wood-fired pizza places in Cheonan.

Spicy rosé pasta, loaded with seafood and fried enoki mushrooms
Next came the slightly spicy rosé pasta, and that was really satisfying too. The thick rosé sauce coated the noodles nicely, and the creaminess balanced well with the tomato's tang. It wasn't greasy, and the hint of spiciness was addictive enough to finish every last bite happily.

It was loaded with squid, octopus, and other seafood, plus a generous amount of fried enoki mushrooms on top — I enjoyed it so, so much!!!
The noodles were cooked al dente just right, so the texture was great, and there was plenty of sauce, so it stayed moist until the last bite. Eating it alongside the pizza was a really great combo. If you're trying to decide on Italian pasta in Sinbu-dong, I'd definitely recommend the rosé pasta too.

The ₩3,000 add-on calzone bread was the real genius move
Honestly, the dish I expected the least but ended up remembering the most was the calzone bread, ordered as a 3,000-won add-on. The price was so low I didn't expect much, but the size was huge, and the warm bread fresh from the wood oven was genuinely delicious.

The outside was crispy and the inside was moist, giving it a different charm from the pizza, and dipping it in the rosé pasta sauce made it disappear in no time. It's the kind of flavor you keep craving even as you're writing about it!! We really did not leave a drop of sauce behind!!
The olive pickles
Even the pickles were so good! Pickles with olives in them :) As someone who genuinely loves olives, I could happily eat just the calzone bread and these pickles together haha.

Atmosphere and overall verdict
Watching customers keep streaming in while we ate, it was clear this place is already well known in the neighborhood. There were families, couples, and groups of friends — all kinds of visitors — and the atmosphere wasn't too noisy, which I liked.
Above all, the quality of the pizza baked right in the wood oven was really satisfying. The dough felt different from the start, and the ingredients felt fresh, which made the whole meal enjoyable. Ordering the pasta alongside made it more than enough for a full meal, and it made me want to come back to try other menu items next time.

- ✔️ If you're looking for good Italian food in Sinbu-dong, I think Napoli Shinbu is more than satisfying. Especially if you're searching for the best pizza in Sinbu-dong, you should definitely try the pizza fresh out of the wood oven — it has a flavor that's clearly different from regular oven-baked pizza.
- ✔️ If you love wood-fired pizza like I do, Napoli Shinbu is worth visiting at least once as one of the best wood-fired pizza spots in Cheonan. The gorgonzola pizza, the rosé pasta, and the great-value calzone bread were all satisfying, and the receipt review event drink was a nice bonus too.
If anyone asks me to recommend the best wood-fired pizza place in Cheonan going forward, I think Napoli Shinbu will be the first place that comes to mind.
