A sauna-style jjimjilbang in Cheonan that works even solo — My Bless Sauna.

My area finally got a place where you can enjoy a private sauna, so I rushed over. This is My Bless Sauna in Sinbuldong — a space that works for solo visits and also has a family room for up to 5 people.

The building has parking from floor 3 to floor 5, so parking was easy~

A quiet waiting area at the far end of the 2nd floor

Head to the far left of the 2nd floor and you'll find My Bless Sauna, great for a Cheonan date-course jjimjilbang! The interior feels warm and cozy, and the waiting area is comfortable too~

The other side has a more nature-friendly atmosphere. Calm music plays, and since it's all private, you won't overlap with other guests — I liked that even more.

1 person 90 minutes, 2 people 110 minutes, family room 120 minutes

My Bless Sauna works for solo visitors, with a 90-minute sauna session for 1 person. For up to 2 people it's 110 minutes, and the family room fits up to 5 and runs 120 minutes — slightly different each time. It's great to visit alone, but also great with a partner or family — recommended as a Cheonan date-course jjimjilbang for anyone looking for something different.

First you scan a QR code and fill out a consent form. After that, they guide you to your reserved room. Oh!! My Bless Sauna can be booked through Naver Reservation, and if there's no time slot you want, they say you can call to ask~

I was guided to the room on the left. Inside, there's an instruction sign on the wall, and even though staff explain it, I ended up reading it again. The room is split into a space for changing and a space for enjoying the sauna.

Opening-celebration welcome service and what's stocked in the room

The first thing I noticed was the table! Since I was visiting solo on the 90-minute course, my checkout time was written down so I could check it. Right now, as an opening celebration, they provide an ice cup, water, a pinch of salt, sikhye, and a roasted egg. You can also purchase more, so keep that in mind~

Room slippers were also ready to wear!

There's a storage cabinet beside the table. Everything you need is already stocked, so there's no need to bring your own stuff!

Even for a solo visit, the towels were plentiful and the wet wipes were arranged with real care.

Toner, lotion, hair ties, cotton swabs and other amenities

There's Aveda toner & lotion, Aromatica body lotion, hair ties, cotton swabs, and even a sanitized comb~ Plus disposable shower towels and a toothbrush & toothpaste set.

There's even a Dyson hair dryer, so you can relax comfortably and dry your hair quickly too.

Inside the cabinet there's a book you can read plus jjimjilbang wear. A robe hangs right beside it, and you can change into whichever you prefer — the sauna clothes or the robe — before enjoying the sauna.

Next to the robe hanger there's a full-length mirror, so you can get ready and take photos too.

Below that is a collection bin — just put your used towel, sauna clothes, or robe in there.

Hair cap is an add-on option at booking

To protect my scalp and hair from the heat, I wore a hair cap too~ Note that the hair cap needs to be selected as an add-on when booking through Naver. Rental costs ₩3,000.

There's a clear window in the changing area. You can actually see into the sauna while it's in use!

From the shower to choosing your hot/cold tub temperature

First I went in and showered. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all Aromatica, and the scent was so nice it put me in a good mood from the very first rinse. The sink has hand wash and cleanser too — truly everything is prepared even if you come with nothing!

When booking, you can choose between a cold tub and a hot tub. Since I thought I might feel drained after the sauna, I asked for a temperature right between cold and hot! Sweating it out in the sauna and then resting in water that's neither too cold nor too hot was really nice~

You can also add aroma oil or bath salt! I skipped it, which was a bit of a shame, but it was still nice to rest without thinking about anything, alone, for the first time in a while.

While in the tub, soft music played, easing both body and mind~ I sipped the iced water they gave me in between and ate the roasted egg, and felt a boost of energy!

A waterproof book for forced digital detox

The book in the cabinet is water-resistant for everyday use, so inside the hot sauna you get a forced digital detox — I ended up reading a book again after a long time~

Nordic Finnish-style dry sauna

After showering and relaxing in the tub for a bit, I put on the robe and went into the sauna.

It's a Nordic Finnish-style dry sauna, and the faint scent of wood was lovely. I settled on the towel-laid spot, and it slowly raised my body temperature from the inside out. There's a thermometer on the wall, and below it a tall vertical bar — flip it over and you can track how long you've been in!

Pouring water over the heated stones creates hot steam for extra warmth, but doing it too often can risk burns or break the equipment, so I only did it once. Even once is plenty hot~ I kept alternating between the tub and the sauna, and finished off with one last shower!

Sparkling water provided as a closing touch

Great solo, great as a date too

At the end, they even gave me sparkling water. My Bless Sauna in Sinbuldong, Cheonan is a jjimjilbang where you can experience digital detox and spend time entirely for yourself! It's a great unusual date course, and it'll be even better once autumn and winter arrive. It's a healing kind of space I'd love to visit alone again. If you're looking for a Cheonan date-course jjimjilbang that also works solo, check out My Bless Sauna ✨
