Midnight Pizza (미드나잇피자) is a pizza place at 8 Meokgeori 6-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungnam, South Korea, on the 1st floor, in the Sinbu-dong food alley. It is open Sunday to Thursday 12:00–22:00 and Friday to Sunday 12:00–23:00, and closed every Monday. There are 1–2 free parking spots in front of the shop, but it's best to check with them beforehand whether there's room.

Midnight Pizza is a pizza spot where a chef with over 10 years of experience ages the dough himself for 36 hours. It's only a 7-minute walk from Cheonan Bus Terminal, so it's really easy to get to. For parking, there's a good-value paid public lot run by the city of Cheonan nearby, so I'd recommend using that!

Is the interior at Midnight Pizza good for a date?

Inside, Midnight Pizza is calm and atmospheric. I think it's the first time I've seen a pizza place with such an upscale interior!

With the great atmosphere and the good food, it turns out to be a famous must-visit date spot among couples in Cheonan.

How do you order at Midnight Pizza? QR ordering

At Midnight Pizza you don't need to call the owner over. You scan the QR code on the table with your phone and order.

The QR page shows every menu item with prices, and you can add items and even pay from your phone, which is really convenient, haha

Basic sauces and drinks

When you order pizza at Midnight Pizza, two sauces come as standard without adding anything: honey mustard and garlic dipping sauce.

We also ordered cola, which no pizza can do without, and since it was a really hot day they gave us a cup of cold ice.

Half-and-half R: Spill Pepperoni + Mac Night pizza

We ordered a half-and-half in size R, pepperoni and Mac Night. At Midnight Pizza you can choose the pizza size and pick up to 2 flavors, so you get to try two kinds of pizza at once, which is really great, haha

On the left is the Spill Pepperoni, piled with tasty pepperoni, and on the right is the Mac Night pizza, which apparently recreates mac and cheese as a topping.

When I lifted a fresh-out-of-the-oven slice, the tasty cheese stretched out long and stringy~ Pizza really is best fresh from a pizza shop.. the cheese pull is on another level, lol

Mac Night pizza taste: 36-hour dough, right down to the crust

First I dipped the Mac Night pizza in the garlic dipping sauce. It's loaded with tasty mac and cheese on top, so the texture is great and it was really delicious. The dough is aged 36 hours, and maybe that's why it was even chewier and so good. We normally don't like pizza crusts, but this pizza was so good that we finished the crust too!

Spill Pepperoni pizza taste

The pepperoni pizza at Midnight Pizza is piled with pepperoni and cheese. The slight spiciness of the pepperoni cuts the richness of the cheese, which makes it a truly top combination!

Midnight Tomato Spaghetti, ₩11,900: how is it as a side?

We also ordered the side dish Midnight Tomato Spaghetti (₩11,900) from Midnight Pizza, haha

There's a lot of cheese on top of the spaghetti, and unlike elsewhere, the spaghetti at Midnight Pizza has pepperoni in it. Maybe that's why the taste gets an extra plus~!

Draft beer at Midnight Pizza and overall verdict

Midnight Pizza also sells several kinds of draft beer. Pizza and beer is a top combination, on par with chicken and beer, haha

I visited Midnight Pizza, a must-visit date spot in Cheonan, and it tasted really different from any pizza I've had so far. The cheese itself was really soft and nutty, and the pizza was tender yet gave the best flavor with each bite. If you visit Sinbu-dong in Cheonan, I highly recommend trying Midnight Pizza at least once!
