I'm introducing Bucheon pizza favorite 'Cheesewave' today! No lie, it was way tastier than the big franchise pizzas, and we finished a whole pizza!!!

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall is at 106-107, 16 Seokcheon-ro 184beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea, a 148 m walk from Exit 2 of City Hall Station. It's open Tue–Sat 11:00 to 01:00 the next day (last order 00:30), and Sun–Mon 11:00 to 23:00 (last order 22:30).

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall has a super hip look starting from the outside, and it really stands out 👀

Draft beer and soju for ₩2,500 after 8 PM

Cheesewave is running an event: if you visit after 8 PM and order a pizza, you can get draft beer and soju for ₩2,500 each! (First 2 orders only.)

There are outdoor tables, so I bet pizza and beer outside when the weather is cool would be the best!!! 🍕🍺

The inside is really hip too! It feels like eating at a pizza place in Yeonnam-dong, and to get that vibe in Bucheon!!! I loved it.

Table seasonings and the self-service corner

I liked that every table has seasonings you can sprinkle on your pizza! There's grated cheese, Heinz ketchup, chili sauce, Tabasco hot sauce and even peperoncino.

You can make it spicy or sprinkle on lots of cheese powder to make it richer, so the same pizza felt like several different flavors haha.

And if you eat in, you can use the self-service corner! Bowls, forks, knives, tissues and wet wipes, plus pickles and water, you can take as much as you need. I especially liked that I could grab more pickles without feeling awkward, hehe (pickle love!)

How does the Cheesewave bacon potato pizza taste?

Finally, the bacon potato pizza with cheese crust edge and the tomato meat spaghetti arrived! The look of it was just insane!!!!!!! The pizza was way bigger than I expected, which surprised me, and the amount of toppings surprised me a second time!!!!

I quickly put a slice on my plate and tried it. The bacon potato pizza taste is...! Wow.. from the first bite, the crispy, fluffy potato, the bacon and the tomato sauce all hit at once, and the combination was seriously the best ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Like I said at the top, no lie,,, it's much tastier than the big franchise pizza places!!!!!!! (my serious face)

Look at these plump potatoes piled on 🥔 They're baked golden brown, so doesn't it look really delicious just from the looks? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Actually, I love bacon potato pizza (we call it "bepopi" in Korean) so much that I always only ate the bacon potato pizza from Pizza School??? But when I tried Cheesewave's bacon potato pizza, there were far more potatoes and it tasted much better!!!!!

Should you add the cheese crust edge?

At Cheesewave you absolutely have to add the BEST menu item, the cheese crust edge (₩3,500)!!! Unlike other pizzas, the cheese isn't rolled up inside the dough. Natural whole cheese sits right on top, which they say makes it even more savory, and

you could really taste the cheese and it was so savory and went so well with the dough!!!!

Tomato meat spaghetti taste

Mix the tomato meat spaghetti before it gets cold!

At first bite, the tomato sauce and the savory flavor of the meat blended well, a taste anyone can enjoy!!! The noodles were cooked just right and they were generous with the sauce, so I enjoyed it to the very last bite hehe.

Even now, writing this, I want to eat it again ㅠ...ㅠ

🍕 A little aside 🍕

How good was the pizza? Well......... my boyfriend accidentally dropped a potato topping from the pizza, and he forgot it had been on the table and was about to eat it again, haha. That's how out of it we were, it was that good. (Of course I spotted it and stopped him right away hehe.)
