My friend and I were hunting for a good spot in Bucheon Hyundai Department Store and ended up at Angry Potato Hyundai Department Store Jungdong Branch (｡•ω•｡)

It was introduced as a happy meal the whole family could enjoy together, so we decided to grab something light as a snack. The location was perfect for stopping by whenever we got hungry mid-shopping, which made it even better.

Since it's set up mainly for takeout like most food hall spots, it seemed great both for eating solo and for grabbing a quick snack to go! :)

Among Jungdong restaurants, this one fits naturally into a shopping route, so it feels like it deserves a spot on any Jungdong recommendation list.

Self-serve sauces: scoop as much as you want

After getting the food, you get to scoop out whatever sauce you want, and that was fun in itself! :) We picked out sauces we thought would go well and put them on our plate.

Deep Crunch Box, 20,000 won: enough for two to share?

The Deep Crunch Box packs several potato dishes together in one box, so it was plenty for two people to share. Crispy fries and chewy potato came together, so we could switch back and forth between textures. The fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside, and I kept reaching for more :)

How the Chipotle Pulled Pork, 8,200 won, tasted

The Chipotle Pulled Pork had spicy sauce and tender meat that worked so well together I kept going back for more (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

The Kitchen Burger served instead of the mini burger

The mini burger on the menu was swapped for a Kitchen Burger, and it was adorable just to look at (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و The bun was light and tasty, so I kept taking one more bite ⸜(๑'8'๑)⸝ The chicken inside went really well with the bun, and honestly the chicken itself was so good it surprised me (⸝⸝ ˣ ㅁ ˣ )

The chicken was really delicious, and the sauce we'd brought over matched perfectly (♡´艸`) The small size also made it easy to split without any pressure (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Would I go back to Angry Potato Jungdong?

Next time I'd like to try something other than the Chipotle Pulled Pork.
