Sajik-dong dessert café for decaf Kusmi rooibos, hot then iced: CORR

These days, even for a single cup of coffee, I look for a café where the dessert is great too. So today I'm sharing my visit to CORR, a dessert spot in Sajik-dong.

CORR let me enjoy financiers baked in-house alongside a wide range of organic French blended teas, so I think anyone who loves desserts will be happy here.

Does CORR bake its financiers in-house?

CORR, the café in Sajik-dong, bakes its financiers in the shop and sells them, so you can taste freshly baked desserts. That was my favorite thing about it.

There are so many kinds of financiers that choosing a flavor was hard. Looking at them lined up neatly in the showcase, I couldn't easily pick just one. Choosing to suit your taste was part of the fun, and being freshly baked made them look even more tempting.

The photos looked lovely already, but the way the tea was steeped and poured into the cup had such a pretty mood that I filmed it too. The video shows the shine and texture of the financiers better. It would be even nicer to watch the whole process of the fragrant tea coming together alongside them.

What is Kusmi Tea, the tea you can try at CORR?

Kusmi Tea at CORR is an organic French blended tea. That day I ordered an americano along with the Kusmi tea the owner recommended.

It's an organic French blended tea, and the variety was truly impressive.

CORR had more than 10 Kusmi teas ready, and about half were decaf, so even people who can't drink coffee can enjoy them without worry.

How does the decaf Rooibos Aqua Rosa taste?

The Kusmi tea I chose was Rooibos Aqua Rosa. It's a decaf fruit tea blended with hibiscus, apple, blackberry and raspberry, and as someone who usually loves fruity aromas, it was exactly my taste.

How I drank one cup both hot and iced

What impressed me most at CORR was the owner's thoughtfulness. Normally you have to choose between iced and hot, but seeing me hesitate, the owner suggested I first enjoy the aroma fully while hot, then prepared ice separately so I could try it iced too.

Thanks to that, one cup of Rooibos Aqua Rosa gave me two different charms. If you like tea, I really hope you'll try this one.

What are the atmosphere and space like at CORR in Sajik-dong?

CORR in Sajik-dong is spacious and tidy, and it even has rooms. I loved the space as much as the desserts.

The café is so roomy and clean that it never felt stuffy, and the rooms make it look good for group gatherings too. The interior is decorated with real charm, so photos come out looking lovely wherever you shoot.

With so much space, it's also great for taking photos and videos. Every angle looked clean, and natural light comes in nicely, so even the dessert photos looked more appetizing. If you like a cozy, aesthetic mood, you'll probably be happy taking pictures here.

Does CORR have parking?

CORR in Sajik-dong has parking spaces behind the shop, so it was easy to visit by car. Parking matters when you drive, right? If you're looking for a café with parking in Sajik-dong, this is a big plus.

Freshly baked financiers, fragrant organic French blended tea and a charming space: I was happy with all of it. I was especially impressed by the variety of decaf teas, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a drink other than coffee.
