What does the butter tteok financier taste like?

This time I ordered a salty choco financier, a Dubai chocolate financier, a butter tteok financier and an almond choco madeleine. With so many financiers to choose from, I agonized a while and picked everything from my usual chocolate types to the butter tteok (butter rice cake) style that was so trendy for a long time.

Personally, the butter tteok financier was the freshest of everything I ordered. It adds the chewy texture that's unique to tteok (rice cake) onto the financier's rich buttery flavor, so it felt different from an ordinary financier. The outside has that typical baked-goods texture, but the inside is chewy, so it's fun to bite into.

To drink with the desserts, I also ordered the Brewers Coffee toffee rooibos tea. The toffee rooibos, Earl Grey and apple teas are all teas with no added sugar. The gentle aroma of rooibos mixed with a sweet toffee scent, making it fragrant and soft.

Even the tissue holder was made in the shape of a canelé! Fitting for a café that sells desserts, you can feel the shop's vibe in even a tiny prop like this, and it was so cute.

Brewers Coffee is also a good place to get baked goods boxed up to take away. If you have a friend who loves financiers or madeleines, you could pick out desserts and give them as a gift. I heard that when you buy several desserts, you can also get them in a gift package.

I liked the toffee rooibos tea even more because it's caffeine-free. Drinking it with the sweet financiers cleansed my palate, so it paired nicely with the desserts. It seems like an easy choice when you want caffeine-free tea instead of coffee.
