Today my partner and I were out on a date in Ansan when we spotted Degree Gojan Branch (디그리 고잔점) just by walking past. It was hot and I was desperate for something cold, and the second I saw the watermelon juice photo outside the shop, I walked in like I was hypnotized... But we'd already had a big meal that day, so sadly we saved the bakery items and sandwiches for next time and just ordered drinks 😆

I heard one of the most popular summer menu items is the tteungmoban (watermelon juice), so I picked it without hesitation 🍉✨ Cold, sweet watermelon juice? How could I not! Of course I wasn't drinking alone. I ordered one for my partner too, two cups in total :)

At Degree Gojan Branch you order, get a buzzer, and pick up your drink yourself when it's ready! You can wait comfortably at your seat, and when the buzzer goes off you just walk to the counter and grab it. It's a simple, easy system and I liked it 👍

The watermelon pieces sink to the bottom of the tteungmoban, so I recommend stirring it every now and then! Mixed up, the fruit rises with the juice and it tastes much richer :)

What did my partner think?

Me and my partner both loved it. After one sip of the watermelon juice at Degree Gojan Branch, my partner's eyes went wide: "Wow, this is really good!" They said it was the best watermelon juice they've ever had 🍉 They don't usually rave about drinks, but said this one was truly delicious and wanted to keep drinking it haha

In the end they finished their own and kept eyeing mine 😂 They said just one sip, but kept stealing more, so I ended up giving up (?) a few mouthfuls hahaha That's how much we both enjoyed it, and it was perfect for cooling off on a hot day :)
