Flowerpot Cafe
I usually go on bakery tours on weekends, but since I was staying overnight at my sister's place in Ansan on a weekday, I went looking for somewhere good to visit with my little baby, and that's how I ended up at this bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan.

I visited on a weekday evening and got to try a good variety of breads 😋😋

Where is Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, and where do you park?
Flowerpot Cafe is located near AW Wedding Hall in Ansan. Check the map for reference! There seems to be another branch near Mulwang Reservoir too, but I visited the Gojan-dong location.

This large bakery café in Gojan-dong is big, has a wide variety of bread, and wide tables — apparently a lot of people come here as a second stop after weddings at the hall on weekends!

Parking wasn't hard either — there are plenty of public parking lots across the street and in the alleys nearby, so I parked easily. The lot I used was the Daerim Plaza public parking lot 🚗🚗, ₩1,000 per hour. Plenty of spots on a weekday evening too! If parallel parking isn't your thing, I highly recommend this lot.

What Flowerpot Cafe feels like at 6:30pm on a weekday
Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch, a bakery café in Ansan — I visited around 6:30pm on a weekday. It was still dinnertime, so there weren't many people out looking for dessert yet, and the inside was relaxed and quiet.

On weekends it gets crowded with people coming as a second stop from the wedding hall, but visiting on a weekday definitely made for a more relaxed date with my baby!
This bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan 🥖🥖 has wide tables and soft sofa seats that are great for sitting with a baby for a long time. And of course, baby chairs are available too.
It's also a nice, focused atmosphere for personal or work laptop use, or doing assignments.

Flowerpot Cafe's bread lineup on a weekday evening
Atmosphere aside, you have to check out Flowerpot Cafe's bread lineup 🥯🥯

One downside was that since I visited after work hours, there wasn't a huge variety of bread left ㅠㅠ Made me think weekends might really be the better time to come.

From sandwiches good for a meal, to healthy breads like campagne, bagels, scones, and garlic bread, there was still no shortage of options 🥐🥐

Rich, dense cheesecake and brownies — the perfect desserts for a sugar boost 🍰🍰

Meringue cookies and pound cake are also great to keep around for when you want a little snack.

There was also a good variety of salt bread, and I spotted some loaded with cream 🥞🥞 — that's when the decision-making started to get hard.

This bakery café in Gojan-dong 🌸🌸 also had a variety of mini cake designs — if a whole cake feels like too much, these are just the right size!

The soft castella and roll cake were also pre-cut and packaged into nice, easy-to-eat portions.
Our Seol-a took one look at the castella and her eyes lit right up. Our baby's number one pick 😊😊

I grabbed one of the plump, delicious-looking ones from the front and moved it to the tray haha. Along with that, I added a few more breads to suit my and my sister's tastes and brought them all to the register.

Drinks, bingsu and the 2,000 won mini juice
The drink menu at this Gojan-dong café ☕️☕️ — coffee, lattes, juice, tea, ades, and more, all good pairings for bread. Prices are cheaper than other places too!

There's 100% real fruit juice, great to drink on a date with baby, plus various bingsu (shaved ice desserts) like red bean, injeolmi, and mango bingsu — how great is that.

There were also mini juices in the display case, and our little one grabbed onto one right away. It was ₩2,000.

She must have been thirsty because she drank it right up. Meanwhile my sister and I finished setting up the bread, having bought one of each thing we were curious about 😊😊

The breads we chose at Flowerpot Cafe and what they cost
- Seol-a's pick: Nagasaki castella ₩7,500
- Auntie's pick: walnut cream cheese ₩5,300
- Auntie's pick: maron campagne ₩5,800
- Mom's pick: mango Wakppu salt bread ₩5,200

Our baby really tucked into the castella ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Grabbing it whole and tearing off pieces like that. It's not even meat, haha, but she really ate well 😋😋

Mom and Auntie, on the other hand, decided to actually use utensils to taste the bread ....!!!
What does the mango Wakppu salt bread taste like?
This bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan has the currently trending Wakppu salt bread 🥐🥐 + mango inside, making it mango Wakppu salt bread, an extra special menu item.
The Wakppu salt bread is coated in white chocolate on top, with cream bread and mango inside. Sweet, tangy, and genuinely delicious...

I wanted to give her a bite too, but our baby seemed satisfied enough with the castella. She started grabbing it and tearing off pieces like a whole loaf of sliced bread. So cute even while eating, our Seol-a ❤️❤️ We'll have to come on plenty more dates with Auntie.
And just like that, we polished off half a whole castella. This bakery café in Gojan-dong is great to visit with a baby — visiting on a weekday definitely made it more relaxed, perfect for enjoying our own little time together.
