Solo bar in Nonhyeon, Seoul with mocktails and new friends: Yahwa
In short
Yahwa Honsul Bar Nonhyeon is a basement solo drinking bar in the Nonhyeon Station food alley in Gangnam, Seoul. The writer went alone, sipped a non-alcoholic blue lemonade and a cinnamon orange while working at a seat with a power outlet, then got talking with the guests at the next seats, clinked highballs with them and moved on together to a second round. Yahwa Honsul Bar Nonhyeon suits anyone who wants to drink solo and still meet people.

Where is Yahwa Honsul Bar Nonhyeon and when is it open?
I went alone to Yahwa Honsul Bar Nonhyeon, a solo drinking bar in Seoul located at B1, 01, 30 Gangnam-daero122-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
It's a Seoul solo bar near the Nonhyeondong food alley and Nonhyeon Station, and they also run a Gangnam branch — so there are two locations, Gangnam and Nonhyeon, so make sure you check which one you're heading to!
Weekday hours run from 8pm to 3am, and on peak weekends it's open from 7pm to 4am.
On weekends they extend by an hour on both ends, so you can enjoy an exciting Friday or Saturday night at this Seoul solo bar even later :)

At Yahwa, depending on the mood, you can naturally get friendly with new people and chat while drinking solo, so it's a good Nonhyeon solo bar where you can enjoy solo drinking and socializing in your own way.

A basement bar that smells of incense, with Febreze and darts at the door
As soon as I walked in, there was a faint incense stick scent, so even though it's a basement, it smelled great.
For people sensitive to scents, there was Febreze at the entrance to spray before heading out, and there was also a darts area on one side, so you could have fun playing darts with people.

Yahwa Nonhyeon drink menu and bottle keep
The drink menu ranged widely from easy-drinking cocktails to highballs, whiskey, vodka, and non-alcoholic options.
In particular, Yahwa's signature cocktails are pretty much foolproof and delicious, so personally I'd recommend them. If you like cocktails, it's fun to pick one and try it out.
Bottle keep is also available so you can continue drinking on your next visit, and after writing a Naver receipt review you can join a no-lose draw event, which means you might even get a free drink haha

Free Bangto Snack crackers, my snack of the year
The complimentary snacks were crackers and sea salt chocolate, and the crackers that came out were so good I asked the staff — turns out they're called bangto snack crackers.
They were genuinely so delicious I lost count of how many refills I had haha. My snack of the year, honestly!

Actually the food at Yahwa is delicious too, so it's a Seoul solo bar I sometimes go to just for the snacks — since it was Chuseok holiday, I worried the New York cheesecake I love might be sold out, and sure enough, my sad feeling turned out to be right ㅠ_ㅠ
A bit disappointing, but I'll catch it next time — as always, I ordered the non-alcoholic blue lemon ade and cinnamon orange!
Besides cheesecake, Yahwa has other delicious food that goes well with drinks, like addictive truffle potato chips, so I'd personally recommend it :)

Power outlets at every seat for working solo
At first there was no one around me, so I charged my phone at my seat and organized my blog on my phone, while a person sitting across from me was also working on a laptop while drinking solo.
It was convenient to charge and work while drinking at the table, and there was also sofa seating in the back, so it was a good Nonhyeon solo bar for sitting comfortably and charging while relaxing.

Came alone, clinked highballs with the guests next to me
As time passed, people started coming in one by one and we all naturally got friendly.
We shared snacks, ordered another round of highballs, clinked glasses, and chatted — and whenever someone left, someone new would come in and we'd get friendly all over again haha
That day I happened to meet people who really clicked with me, so even though it was crowded, the back-and-forth conversation flowed really well and was so much fun haha

After getting friendly with the people at the table, we got up to head to a second round, and by then the whole place was packed except for our table.
At the register, there were discount partnerships with various beauty services like eyelashes, semi-permanent makeup, tanning, and Brazilian waxing, so if you use those kinds of services, it might be worth checking out :)

Second round at Yongyong Seonsaeng (용용선생) in Nonhyeon, open till 4am
We left and looked for a late-night bar near Nonhyeon, ended up at Yongyong Seonsaeng for a second round and had another drink together~
Closing time was usually 5am, but because of Chuseok they had shortened hours until 4am — which honestly was a relief lolllll. If it had gone till 5, I have no idea how much more we would've drunk lolllllll
That day we laughed and chatted so much I lost track of time, and went home in a good mood hahaha. See you again next time~
A Nonhyeon solo bar where I went alone, chatted with new people, and even made unexpected connections for a really fun time haha
If you're looking for a bit of novelty and dopamine in daily life these days, try visiting Yahwa Honsul Bar Nonhyeon, where you can drink solo and also chat with new people :)
