Why Rabbit Castle Seoulsup for a Seoulsup date?
We picked Rabbit Castle Seoulsup (래빗캐슬 서울숲) for our weekend date. We'd been lazing around at home without deciding where to go >.< Seoulsup date?! Or Daehakro date?! At first I leaned toward Daehakro, since it had been a while, but in the end we went with Seongsu, which has more good restaurants, haha.

It's packed with cute little props~ I visited Rabbit Castle Seoulsup, famous as a Western restaurant in the Seoulsup area =3

Where is Rabbit Castle Seoulsup?
Rabbit Castle Seoulsup is at 18-10 Seoulsup 4-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the first basement level. By subway, it's roughly between Seoulsup Station on the Suin-Bundang Line and Ttukseom Station on Line 2. Turn into the alley at the Black Combat building and it's on the left side, on B1.

Inside Rabbit Castle Seoulsup: the rabbit-themed interior
The inside of Rabbit Castle Seoulsup is decorated with rabbit dolls and a fairytale-castle interior. Such a cute, pretty space, down in a basement, ta-da~ Even though it's on B1, the glass walls let you see all the way in from outside, and I only thought "nice interior" at first, but once I stepped in I understood why it's called Rabbit Castle!

There are cute rabbit dolls everywhere, and it feels like looking at one corner of a pretty castle from a storybook! It was a busy time so I couldn't capture the interior as nicely as I wanted, but when it's quiet, it looks like a great place for a photo~

Rabbit Castle Seoulsup menu and sets for 2
Rabbit Castle Seoulsup sells pasta, pizza, risotto, steak and salad, plus coffee, wine and ice cream desserts. There's a menu board at the entrance too, so you can check the menu right away, and they even have a beef and seaweed soup risotto for kids.

If you want to try a variety, there are also 2-person sets (a steak set and a pizza set), which are better value!

What we ordered: the Rabbit Castle Seoulsup pizza set for 2
- Ricotta cheese salad 🥗
- Bolognese (fresh noodles) +₩1,000 🍝
- Funghi Reale Bismarck pizza 🍕
You order on your phone by scanning the QR code stuck on the table.

Ricotta cheese salad

The ricotta cheese salad at Rabbit Castle Seoulsup is loaded with ricotta~ a salad with fresh vegetables that wakes up your appetite ^^

How does the classic Bolognese with fresh pasta taste?
The classic Bolognese (fresh noodles) at Rabbit Castle Seoulsup is listed at +₩21,000. It's described as an authentic Bolognese made with a traditional recipe learned in Bologna, with beef and aromatics slowly simmered for a long time.

I don't usually eat ragù much myself, and it wasn't as rich as I expected, but there's lots of minced beef so it's nice and chewy, and the fresh noodles give it a homemade feel. It's a place where you can taste a proper Bolognese, so I recommend it for ragù lovers~

Funghi Reale Bismarck pizza with a chewy crust
The funghi Reale Bismarck pizza at Rabbit Castle Seoulsup is listed at +₩27,000. Reale means "noble" in Italian, and the pizza is described as having the deep, rich forest aroma of 5 kinds of mushrooms, topped with a soft Bismarck egg and a crispy Grana Padano tuile.

I agonized over which pizza to get, and the funghi pizza was labeled as a recommended menu item, so that's what I picked.

As it happens, everything I chose could be hit-or-miss, haha (that's just personal taste >.<). This isn't a typical punchy pizza, so it may divide opinion, but the mushroom aroma rises right up and it's really mild yet full of flavor, and the thin, chewy crust never got boring no matter how many slices I ate~
