Forerest is a large forest-view café on Nogyang-ro in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. On a cool early-autumn day I sat at Forerest's outdoor tables with two iced Americanos (one switched to decaf for an extra 1,000 won), a plain Basque cheesecake and a chocolate Basque cheesecake. With parking for more than 50 cars and hours until midnight, Forerest makes an easy stop on a Uijeongbu date or drive.
Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is a Western-style pork cutlet (donkaseu) restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Jeil Poongkyungchae Centum shopping mall in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. A couple ordered three servings to share — cheese pork cutlet with mini udon for 16,900 won, demi hamburg steak 2pcs for 13,900 won and rosé pork cutlet for 12,900 won, 43,700 won in total. Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak made for a filling Millak lunch that let them compare the cheese, rosé and hamburg dishes in one sitting.
