The pork belly has that rich, fatty savoriness fully intact, grilled golden and crisp outside while staying juicy inside — one bite in and I thought, yep, this is why I keep coming here. The pork neck isn't dry either; it's juicy and clean-tasting, perfect to order alongside the belly. It's spicy and the broth is rich, and after eating meat, one spoonful just resets your palate completely. I'd absolutely recommend ordering rice with it. For me, a meal at Sammokjip doesn't feel complete just with the meat — I need the kimchi jjigae + rice to really finish it off.
