Black Hood Coffee is a brewing café near Shinsegae Department Store in Cheonan. It's known for filter coffee, which isn't easy to find, and since it's close to Cheonan Shinsegae, it's a great café to stop by after shopping there!!

Fitting for a filter coffee place, right to the right as you walk in you can see a variety of beans! They'd be good for anyone looking to buy beans as a gift. What do Black Hood Coffee's financiers taste like?

The financiers (small French almond butter cakes) at Black Hood Coffee are long and thin: the matcha glaze financier is ₩3,800 and the chocolate almond financier is ₩4,000. As someone who loves crispy financiers, the big plus of the long shape is getting so much of the crispy part!

Matcha glaze financier: crisp outside, chewy inside, sweet and salty

Can you see how dense and fudgy the inside of the matcha glaze financier is? Totally crisp outside and chewy inside T_T It was so, so good,,, There's a matcha financier inside and it's glazed with matcha chocolate too, so every single bite was really delicious!

And it's so pretty,,, great for photos too! I came because it's a filter coffee hotspot, but the financiers are this good too?!,,, Strongly recommended, truly.

A little salt is sprinkled on top of the matcha glaze financier, and thanks to that the sweet-salty combo was so, so good!!!!!! Really, really strongly recommended!!!!!!

Chocolate almond financier: nutty dark chocolate

The chocolate almond financier is strongly recommended too. You bite into the chocolate coating and almonds, and it's really nutty, and because it's dark chocolate it isn't too sweet, just right!!!!

How does the iced Americano at Black Hood Coffee taste?

The iced Americano at Black Hood Coffee was neither too bitter nor too sour. It's the classic iced Americano I'd hoped for from a coffee hotspot, and since the desserts are so good, it went really well with them and was memorable, so, so good!!!!
