Game café in Jamsil before baseball: first Overcooked, One Play
In short
One Play Jamsil Branch is a game café near Sports Complex Station in Songpa, Seoul, offering board games, Nintendo Switch, manga and OTT streaming rooms. On a weekday half day off before a baseball game, the writer used One Play Jamsil Branch's weekday event of ₩10,000 for unlimited time, played Nintendo Overcooked for the first time and stayed far longer than planned. One Play, a Nintendo café in Jamsil where I lost all track of time playing Overcooked

Last week I took a half day off on a weekday, and before heading to a baseball game I looked for somewhere to hang out in Jamsil, so I went to One Play haha. Time flew by and there were so many kinds of games that I really didn't notice the hours passing haha.
In hot weather like lately, it also seems like a good cool indoor date spot in Jamsil. You can play everything from board games to Nintendo games, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Jamsil board game date or a Jamsil Nintendo café!
One Play Jamsil Branch: location and hours
One Play Jamsil Branch (원플레이 잠실점) uses the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building at 20 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, 454 m from Exit 9 of Sports Complex Station (Lines 2 and 9). It's open daily from 10:00 to 24:00.
One Play Jamsil prices: ₩10,000 unlimited on weekdays
The basic rate at One Play Jamsil is ₩4,000 per hour, and there are separate package plans that include a drink. At the time of writing, a weekday event let you stay for unlimited time for ₩10,000.

- 1-hour plan ₩4,000
- Sunshine plan (1 hour + iced tea/americano) ₩7,000
- Shower plan (2 hours + iced tea/americano) ₩10,900
- Snowflake plan (3 hours + iced tea/americano) ₩14,900
- Rainbow plan (4 hours + iced tea/americano) ₩22,500
You can swap the package drink for another one by paying extra!! The weekday event was running, so you could play unlimited time for ₩10,000~~ We decided to go unlimited and order drinks separately!

Rules by floor
At One Play Jamsil, board games and manga can only be used on the 3rd floor or in the OTT rooms, not in the game console rooms! For Nintendo Switch, use the 2nd-floor game rooms, and for OTT, check the list of available services posted at the entrance before you watch!
3rd floor: counter, ordering and manga area

The counter is on the 3rd floor, so on your first visit you go up there first and choose a plan. Ordering was easy on my phone, and I could order drinks and desserts right away.
I was surprised by how varied the menu was: coffee and ades, desserts, snacks, so many options. I went just to pass a bit of time, but it felt like a place where you could stay all day haha.

And the manga selection is really varied too~

The 3rd-floor interior is styled in a really stylish way, so when I first walked in it just felt like a pretty café. The lighting and props were nice too, and it felt more like a clean café than a game space haha.
2nd floor: Nintendo game rooms, OTT rooms, board games

The 2nd floor has spaces like this for playing Nintendo games, plus separate rooms for watching OTT! Each room has a slightly different vibe, so it'd be fun with friends or on a date.

The 2nd floor also has a good variety of board games!
Borrowing a Nintendo game cartridge and my first Overcooked

To play Nintendo Switch at One Play Jamsil, bring your ID and the store card to the 3rd-floor counter and pick one game cartridge. Today we wanted Nintendo more than board games, so we went with the Switch! A staff member shows you the cartridges and you pick the one you want. We chose Overcooked because it looked fun to play together~!!

The drinks were filled to the brim and nice and cold, great to sip while gaming haha.

The seating in the room is soft and comfy too, so it was easier to relax and play than I expected haha. Overcooked was my first time, so I fumbled a bit at the start, but I got used to it and it became so much fun! I got more and more competitive lol. I meant to stay just a short while, but it was so fun that I ended up playing way longer than planned haha.
One Play Jamsil as a Jamsil indoor date: how was it?
With the weekday ₩10,000 unlimited event, One Play was a great-value place to play~~ It was a cool spot to spend time, a Jamsil indoor date place, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Jamsil board game date or Nintendo café!! It's good for a casual hangout with friends and satisfying as a date spot, so I'd love to go again!
