What is Hado in Haenggung-dong, Suwon?
Hado is a course restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving a tart – pasta – steak – dessert course for ₩45,000 per person. The atmosphere is classy, so it seems especially good for anniversaries. For anyone looking for a date-worthy spot in Haenggung-dong or a Suwon course restaurant with a nice mood, here is a detailed look at how the food at Hado was. :)

Hado's hours are Monday 16:00–21:00 and Tuesday to Sunday 11:00–21:30.
Along a Haenggung-dong street, there was Hado, a minimal-style place in black with wood accents.

We glanced at the menu board right out front, spotted the Habitat corporate club mark, and went inside.

What are Hado's interior and seating like?
Hado's interior is modern in black and gray tones, with an open kitchen and mostly tables for 2–4 people. It felt even more modern and tidy than the exterior. The entrance was decorated with a cute Hado sign and lots of wine bottles,
and inside, the tables, chairs and even the lighting were all in matching black and gray, so the whole place felt clean with no fuss. In particular, big pendant lights drop over the tables and create a soft mood, and with the open kitchen you can watch the cooking up close.
Famous songs were playing from CDs, which made the mood even better. haha There were lots of CDs and earphones under the CD player, and there's a CD player beside the seats, so you can play your favorite classics, which I loved too.
The seating looked mostly like tables for 2–4, and the tables weren't packed too close together, so it felt quiet and calm rather than noisy or crowded. We sat toward the back.

The types of course dishes were written on the table too, which made it feel like a classy restaurant and got us even more excited.
How much is Hado's basic course, and what can you upgrade?
Hado's menu consists of course meals and a lunch-only set menu. The basic Hado course is ₩90,000 for two, with chicken breast steak as the default, and you can switch to chuck flap steak for an extra ₩21,000.

You can also change the pasta to whichever you like: carbonara, vongole, bisque, squid ink oil or pomodoro!

Here's what we ordered that day.
- Hado course for 2: ₩90,000
- Chicken breast steak
- Chuck flap steak +₩21,000
- 1 bisque pasta, 1 squid ink oil pasta
- 1 Zero Coke: ₩3,000
- Total = ₩114,000
Starters: pea tart and sweet shrimp apple tart
The first dishes of the Hado course were a pea tart and a sweet shrimp apple tart. The pea tart came topped with lots of peas on pea purée, plus herbs and edible flowers.

We were told to eat it in one bite, so I went "ahh~" and popped it in, and I could feel every single pea, so tasty.
Next, the sweet shrimp apple tart 🍎 It was packed with apple and sweet shrimp, and the combo of crisp apple, crunchy tart shell and smooth purée was so good. haha
How were Hado's bisque and squid ink oil pastas?
The second dish of the Hado course was the bisque pasta and squid ink oil pasta we had reserved in advance 🍝 Personally, it was the most delicious pasta I've ever had.. the pasta of my life..💕

Bisque pasta with large shrimp
First, the bisque pasta, which comes with big shrimp,

The noodles were super springy, and the sauce had shrimp in it too, so it was incredibly good. The moment I ate it my eyes went round and I thought, huh? What is this.. why is it so good?

Squid ink oil pasta topped with smoky grilled squid
Next, the squid ink oil pasta ✨ I ordered it because I wanted to eat squid ink pasta, and I was so, so excited for this one too..

Eating the pleasantly oily squid ink pasta together with warm, tasty squid with a smoky grilled flavor was really delicious..🖤

I went with my mom that day, and the moment we tasted the pasta we both gasped, said we'd have to come back for the pasta, and showered it with praise as the pasta place of our lives.
Chicken breast steak vs chuck flap steak: which is better?
The third dish of the Hado course was the default chicken breast steak and the chuck flap steak I upgraded to for ₩21,000. My mom and I split on which we preferred.

The default chicken breast came on carrot purée and tasted like the boiled chicken breast I expected,

and the chuck flap steak I ate with the sauce and potato purée beside it,

My pick was the chuck flap steak, while my mom preferred the chicken breast steak over the chuck flap. haha
Hado's dessert and finishing touches
The final dessert of the Hado course was Earl Grey ice cream~

One bite and my mouth felt totally refreshed, which was so nice.
And at the end they gave us mouthwash to gargle with..💕 Such a small touch of consideration.. I love it..
Also, if you write a Naver review for the event, they give you a free rooibos apple lemon tea, so we wrote the review and got our free tea too.
