you're eating jjagyechi again, where this time?" So here it is, finally — my review of Ho Samchon, my all-time favorite jjagyechi spot ** everything else on the menu is great too, but the jjagyechi is on another level **

Ho Samchon is really close to both Yeongdeungpo Station and Yeongdeungpo Market 🍻 It's an easy walk from the station, so it's great for a casual drink after work or a stop while wandering the market 👀✨ It's on the 2nd floor, and as soon as you head up the stairs, there's an eye-catching photo zone waiting right at the entrance!

Is Ho Samchon good for a Yeongdeungpo group dinner?

Ho Samchon has quite a lot of tables, and they're spaced generously enough that you don't have to worry about the next table over — great for drinking without feeling cramped 🍻 It's fine for a small group of 2-3, but it can also handle a big group gathering or a work dinner, so headcount isn't really an issue 👥✨ The table layout never feels tight, so it was easy to chat comfortably with friends over drinks 😆

Ho Samchon menu and prices

Ho Samchon has a pretty wide range of dishes, from Korean-style bar snacks to pasta, chicken, and noodle dishes 🤤 Most dishes run ₩10,000-20,000, which makes it easy for a group of 2-4 to order a bunch of things and share!! The drink lineup is varied too — highballs, soju, beer — so it works well for a date, a friend hangout, or a work dinner 〰️

The complimentary side is a chicken drumstick 🍗 Picking at it while waiting for the main dishes, and before you know it, it's gone 🤭

We ordered jjagyechi and wings + fries

How do the wings and fries taste?

The visuals were insane..!

They're seasoned nice and salty, so they go great with beer or soju, and pairing them with jjagyechi worked surprisingly well — thick noodles plus crispy chicken 🍻

Both the ketchup and chili-chili sauces were great too 😋😋 and they came with a salad on the side, which made things feel fresher and even better

Jjagyechi, the dish worth coming back for

Here comes my absolute favorite, jjagyechi!!
