Seongsu vegan bakery café: bear-shaped bread and matcha latte, LOOOP

LOOOP Bakery is a large bakery café on Yeonmujang 5-gil in Seongsu, Seoul, selling regular and vegan bread side by side. The writer came for LOOOP Bakery's bear-shaped bread filled with blueberry jam and cream, also tried the filter coffee of the day, a matcha latte and a vegan brownie, and looked around the seating on floors 1–3 and the self studio. LOOOP Bakery is a good Seongsu café for lingering over bread and taking photos.

Drive café in Sutonggol, Daejeon: mango bingsu minus red bean, Luonto

Luonto Sutonggol Branch is a large three-floor roastery café tucked inside Sutonggol in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. At Luonto, the writer ordered the red bean mango bingsu (shaved ice) with the red bean left out, so it came topped with just mango and ice cream, along with a plain chimney bread baked to order and an iced Americano made with the nutty bean option. Luonto Sutonggol Branch is a good stop for an after-meal drive, with mountain-view window seats to linger at.

With bar seating as well as tables, Myeonsikdang works for solo diners and for groups who each want their own dish.
