Seongsu vegan bakery café: bear-shaped bread and matcha latte, LOOOP

I went to Seongsu and stopped by LOOOP Bakery, a big bakery café. You can enjoy regular bakery items and vegan bread together here, so let me show you around~

LOOOP Bakery opening hours and location

LOOOP Bakery is open every day from 9:30 until 02:00 in the morning, and the address is 9-13 Yeonmujang 5-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea (1st floor). The bakery items come out from 12:00, so keep that in mind! Since it's open from morning until the small hours, it's easy to visit any time.

Why are there so many people walking around Seongsu.. this country bumpkin is getting drained.. I rushed to LOOOP for a caffeine transfusion! The outside looks like a ribbon and gift wrapping, so it's not hard to find!

How to order at LOOOP Bakery and what bread they have

At LOOOP Bakery, you pick your bread first, then order it with your drinks at the kiosk. There's everything from salt bread (buttery rolls with a salted top) to muffins and cookies, and there are cakes up front too!

LOOOP Bakery has regular bakery items and vegan bakery items together, so it's a good place for vegans too~ Please check the nut information as well. You can find it on the price tags!

The 1st floor of LOOOP Bakery has lots of places to sit, so it's fine to come in a big group~

LOOOP Bakery has all kinds of photo zones too 🥰 There are lots of spots to make memories, so I recommend it with friends or a partner~~ Let's get one for ourselves too 📸

As you'd expect from a big café, there's space to eat on the 2nd and 3rd floors too! The 1st floor is spacious, but the 2nd and 3rd are also big and you can enjoy them more quietly.

The 2nd floor is quieter than the 1st, so it's good for chatting~ The 3rd floor has both indoor and outdoor space, so on a nice day it's lovely to eat outside.

There's a self studio in the room at the back too! Café customers can try it, so you can enjoy tasty drinks and bakery items and also leave memories with your partner or friends in photos. Two birds with one stone~~

How do the matcha latte and filter coffee of the day taste?

I liked that the matcha latte at LOOOP Bakery isn't strong on matcha. I'm totally into matcha these days, me..~💚 The filter coffee of the day is different from the Americano we usually drink, so coffee lovers should give it a try~ The aroma is different and you can taste some acidity~

How were the bear bread and vegan brownie?

The bear bread at LOOOP Bakery is crispy outside and packed with blueberry jam and cream inside. Honestly, I came to this café because of how cute this bear bread looks haha. I really loved the look of the bear 🐻 right from the start.

The brownie is a vegan brownie, made without flour, eggs, milk or butter, so it's a vegan product with a different texture from a regular one. I was curious, so I tried it! It crumbles easily, so it was different from a regular brownie, but it tastes richly chocolatey and has lots of nuts like macadamia inside.
