Italian restaurant near Sejong Lake Park: shrimp panne set, Olibus
In short
Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship is an Italian restaurant near Sejong Lake Park, in Building B of SBC Center with a large underground car park. The two-person set brought potato soup, red shrimp rosé panne pasta (pasta served in a bread bowl), truffle funghi pizza, a berry ade and a passion fruit ade, with shrimp as big as lobster and a rosé sauce that stayed mild rather than sharp. The set at Olibus is generous enough to leave two people completely full.

Where is Olibus Eojin-dong, and where do you park?
I went to check out the area around Sejong Lake Park and stumbled on a great spot nearby for a meal. It's Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship. There's a parking lot in the building's basement, and it's very spacious, so parking was easy. Just a heads up — you need to come out through Building B to be close to the restaurant.

Here's the exterior of Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship. It's close to Sejong Lake Park, so it also seems like a nice spot for a drive before or after your meal.

Inside Olibus: the dining room and the QR code menu
The interior is cozy and intimate. It seems like a good spot for a date, and also nice for chatting with friends.

There's no separate paper menu. You check the menu and prices through a QR code on your phone, select your items, and order.

If you book ahead through Naver Reservations, there's also a drink event. Even the cold water comes in a stylish glass bottle, haha.

What comes in the Olibus two-person set, plus two ades
We ordered the two-person set. We chose the potato soup, red shrimp rosé pasta, truffle funghi pizza, berry ade, and passion fruit ade. For pricier menu items you just pay a bit extra.
The drinks came out first. Both the berry ade and passion fruit ade were refreshing and delicious.

The carbonation wasn't too strong, so it didn't feel super fizzy — more like the fruit's natural sweetness came through well. This is the signature potato soup, priced at ₩9,900 à la carte.

Olibus signature potato soup, 9,900 won
It seems like one bowl comes out per two people. Rather than rich, it's on the lighter, smoother side, so it seems like something most people would enjoy without complaint. And dipping the bread in it makes it even more savory.

Pickles at Olibus come only if you ask
Oh, by the way! Pickles don't come by default. We were told you have to ask, so we requested them right away. The cucumbers were sliced into big chunks, which looked really appetizing.

They had a nice tang, and eating them alongside the cream or rosé sauce dishes really cleaned up the palate! If you like pickles, you have to try these!!
Red shrimp rosé panne pasta, 18,900 won: lobster-sized shrimp
Next up was the red shrimp rosé panne pasta, priced at ₩18,900 à la carte. First of all, the red shrimp on top were seriously huge!

The shrimp meat was plump too — once I peeled it and took a bite, it had a really bouncy, meaty texture. The shrimp were so big it honestly felt like eating lobster, haha.

The rosé sauce was smooth and savory, with a subtle hint of tomato added on top, which I liked. The bread was also very moist overall. The noodles were well coated in sauce too, and eating them together with the red shrimp and cocktail shrimp made the whole dish feel rich and full-bodied.
Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship — a spot I found while looking for good pasta places in Sejong! The pasta wasn't overly intense in flavor and was just solidly, dependably delicious, which I liked. I think people living nearby would come back often.

Truffle funghi pizza, 17,900 won: how strong is the mushroom flavor?
The last dish to arrive was the truffle funghi pizza, priced at ₩17,900 à la carte.

A subtle mushroom aroma spread out, and the distinct mushroom flavor of funghi really came through. Thanks to the generous amount of mushrooms, it felt lighter and healthier than a typical pizza!

Is the Olibus two-person set enough food for two?
From the ades to the potato soup, pasta, and pizza, everything felt delicious in a way that let the natural flavor of the ingredients shine through. We had the two-person set, and the portion was so generous that by the end we were completely stuffed, haha. If you want to eat pasta in a nice atmosphere near Sejong Lake Park, drop by Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship. Next time I'm in Sejong, I'd like to try other menu items here too, haha.
