Honey sweet potato fries and doria at Rolling Pasta, Suwon Station
In short
Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is a pasta and pizza restaurant on the 2nd floor of the building right in front of Exit 12 at Suwon Station. After a movie, a married couple ordered beef brisket doria, gorgonzola pizza (S), crispy chicken tender salad and honey sweet potato fries, and found an old record showing they had eaten the same beef brisket doria back in 2019 while dating. Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is an easy pick for a post-movie dinner with several dishes to share.

That day my husband and I watched a movie at Suwon Station and headed out for dinner afterward. We saw Spider-Man in 4DMX, and while trying to figure out where to eat, Rolling Pasta caught our eye.

Rolling Pasta is on the 2nd floor of a building directly in front of Suwon Station.

Last time I visited I remember sitting near the entrance, so I had no idea the restaurant stretched this far back.

This time I noticed there were more seats than I expected, with some nice-atmosphere tables set up further inside.

There were plenty of seats good for solo dining too — since it was a bit late, I spotted a few students eating alone.

The vibe felt comfortable enough for solo diners near Suwon Station. They also sell wine.

Pasta with a glass of wine sounded perfect, but since I had work the next morning, I barely resisted.

The same Rolling Pasta we visited while dating in 2019
After ordering, it hit me — this is the same place we came to while dating. I looked back through old photos and found it was November 26, 2019, exactly.

Back then too, we'd watched the movie Black Money at Suwon Station and eaten at Rolling Pasta afterward. After dinner I took the subway home alone. Coming back here after a movie again, all those old memories came rushing back.
So today, do I just take the subway home like back then?
I said it as a joke, and my husband nearly jumped out of his seat, haha. Being married now, we could joke about it and laugh — it was oddly fun.
Another funny thing: back in 2019, we'd ordered the exact same beef brisket doria.

People's taste really doesn't change, haha. Seeing us pick the same dish then and now was just amusing.
Piping hot beef brisket doria (baked rice gratin)
First up was the beef brisket doria.

This one is genuinely hot. My husband, always in a hurry, took a bite the moment it arrived and yelped from the heat, haha. The rice and beef brisket went really well together, and eating it warm made for a hearty dish.

Ordering doria at a pasta place is honestly a pretty good choice.
Gorgonzola pizza dipped in honey
Gorgonzola pizza absolutely has to be dipped in honey.

Plain, it tasted a bit mild, but with honey the flavor really came alive. One slice dipped in honey, then another, and before we knew it we'd nearly finished the whole thing.

We saved the last slice for the very end, eating it almost like dessert, haha. Some things just taste better when you save them for last.
Crispy chicken tender salad
We ordered the crispy chicken tender salad since it's my husband's favorite kind of dish. He often gets chicken tender salad at Outback, so when he saw a similar option here he picked it right away.

It was spicier than expected — if you assume 'salad' means mild, this one might surprise you a little.

Eating the crispy fried chicken tenders together with the salad worked well as a side alongside the pasta and pizza.
Is this a trend now? Honey sweet potato fries
We also ordered honey sweet potato fries out of curiosity, and it really seems to be a trend these days — sweet potato fries seem to pop up everywhere lately. The sweet potato's natural sweetness paired with a crispy texture made them great for snacking.

We also tried dipping them in the honey that came with the gorgonzola pizza, and yep, honey makes everything taste good, haha. Sweet potato plus honey made for a proper sweet snack feel.
A Suwon Station dinner served with memories
Revisiting Rolling Pasta after all this time, it wasn't just about the food — being able to relive old memories made the evening even more memorable.

Back in 2019, after the movie and dinner we each went home separately, but now we're married and live together, coming here after a movie for dinner made me realize just how much time has passed, haha.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat near Suwon Station after a movie, this place has good accessibility and a wide menu — pasta, doria, pizza, salads, and sides — making it a good option for ordering a bunch of dishes to share.

Next time, I'll have to come on a day when I don't need to worry about work the next morning and finally get that glass of wine.
