After a meal in Haeundae, a craving for something sweet led to a weekday afternoon visit to Geumsong Deokmi Haeundae Haeridan-gil Branch with my wife and baby.

Being located on Haeridan-gil near Haeundae Station, it's also a great spot for a date course.

What made it even more exciting was that the tiramisu here changes with the seasons.

This time we ordered the fig tiramisu and Oreo cheesecake, plus two drinks.

What is the café like inside?

Walking into Geumsong Deokmi Haeundae Haeridan-gil Branch, the clean, emotive atmosphere caught my eye first. There are plenty of photogenic spots, and it's a comfortable place to sit and chat slowly, making it a solid date spot too.

Fall seasonal menu: the fig tiramisu

What I was most looking forward to on this visit was the fig tiramisu. Geumsong Deokmi changes its tiramisu with the seasons — peach tiramisu in summer, fig tiramisu in fall, and strawberry tiramisu in winter, so you can enjoy a seasonal dessert each time.

The gentle sweetness of the fig paired beautifully with the soft cream. It wasn't overly sweet, so it went down easy alongside coffee or a latte.

The signature Oreo cheesecake

True to its status as Geumsong Deokmi's signature item, the Oreo cheesecake had an impressively dense, fudgy texture.

The rich cheese flavor came layered with the sweetness of Oreo, making it a great fit for anyone who loves dessert. Ordering one tiramisu and one cheesecake to share let us compare and enjoy their different charms.

The royal vanilla bean latte

We also ordered the royal vanilla bean latte. Made with vanilla bean syrup, it had a soft, sweet flavor.

Even paired with dessert, it wasn't too heavy, and the combination worked out quite well.

The matcha choco latte

We tried the matcha choco latte too. The bitterness of matcha combined with the sweetness of chocolate made it feel like a dessert in a cup.
