Yeouido weekend burger dinner with free parking: Dumburger Yeouido

This is about Dumburger Yeouido (덤버거 여의도점), a new handmade burger spot in Yeouido that I stopped by on a weekend evening. There's a public street parking lot right in front, so parking was easy. One spot happened to be open, and parking was free on weekends. The patty was juicy and the cheese added a rich, nutty flavor, so I enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of delivery riders were coming and going while I ate, so it's clearly a delivery favorite too.

Where is Dumburger Yeouido, and what are its hours?

Dumburger Yeouido is at 1F Unit 113, 11 Uisadang-daero 1-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (45-5 Yeouido-dong), 212m from Exit 1 of Saetgang Station. It's open daily from 10 AM to 4 AM the next day. There's no parking at the restaurant, so use the public parking nearby.

It's a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Saetgang Station and a 9-minute walk from Exit 5 of Yeouido Station. It's close to The Hyundai Seoul and IFC Mall, so it's easy to combine with a visit there, and it's also handy before or after a trip to Hangang Park in Yeouido or Saetgang Ecological Park, or for takeout. Since it's open until 4 AM, it's also a good place when a late-night craving hits.

Inside Dumburger Yeouido and the seating

The restaurant opened recently, so it's clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. With bar tables, window seats and 4-person tables, it works for solo meals and groups alike.

The kitchen is open, so you can watch the cooking. They grill the patties and fry the chicken in-house, and apparently everything is made to order. There are bar tables at the back and in front of the kitchen pickup counter, which made for a nice solo-dining vibe. There's also a hand-washing area, which was handy before and after eating a burger.

The window seats and the 4-person tables behind the kiosk also looked comfortable.

We sat at this window seat, and it was roomy enough to eat comfortably. The mood suits a date, a meal with friends or a family outing.

Each table has a little framed menu that looks like a miniature of the sign outside, which made it easy to check the burger types, and it was cute. There was also a notice that a special coleslaw comes free if you write a Naver receipt review, so I joined in.

You order and pay at the kiosk at the entrance, and a set costs ₩5,000 on top of the single burger. There are plenty of handmade burgers, including the new Pizza Cheeseburger (₩10,900) and Double Pizza Cheeseburger (₩15,900).

For chicken there are whole-thigh chicken and chicken tenders, and the sides are fries, hash browns, sweet corn salad, coleslaw and chili cheese sticks.

We ordered a cheeseburger set and a Dumburger set.

How do the Dumburger set and cheeseburger set taste?

Since everything is made to order, the burger sets came out hot, with freshly grilled patties. There's a soda dispenser next to the pickup counter, so I filled two cups of Coke Zero and headed to our seats.

Here are the cheeseburger set and the Dumburger set. With the patties poking out of the buns and the sauce oozing out, they looked really appetizing.

The Dumburger with a 200g patty

The Dumburger has a 200g beef patty, American cheese, Colby Jack cheese, grilled onion, pickles and Dum sauce between sesame buns. You could see the thick patty, grilled onion and plenty of Dum sauce peeking out.

The thick beef patty was juicy and moist, with a deep beefy flavor the more I chewed. The sweetness of the grilled onion and the richness of the two cheeses, plus the sweet-and-sour pickles and Dum sauce, blended together really well.

The brioche bun cheeseburger

The cheeseburger has a 110g beef patty, American cheese, grilled onion, pickles and Dum sauce in a brioche bun.

The soft, fluffy brioche bun went well with the juicy beef patty and rich cheese, and the Dum sauce and sweet-and-sour pickles made it even better. The brioche was very soft and nutty, and the big pickles were generously packed in, giving a nice crunch.

Fries and the receipt-review coleslaw

The freshly fried fries were crisp and tasty too, a good side.

This is the coleslaw I got from the Naver receipt event. It's made with red cabbage, so the color is pretty, and it was crunchy and fresh, a good match for the burger. Delivery riders kept coming and going the whole time, so it's definitely a delivery favorite in Yeouido.

Dumburger Yeouido is a handmade burger spot near Yeouido Station where I enjoyed burgers in a clean, comfortable space 😄 Both the Dumburger and the cheeseburger were good, with a juicy made-to-order patty, rich cheese, grilled onion and Dum sauce all working well together. It's close to The Hyundai Seoul, IFC Mall, Hangang Park in Yeouido and Saetgang Ecological Park, so it fits easily into a day out. It's also good for a lunch or solo meal for office workers around Yeouido, and with hours until 4 AM, it works as a late-night stop too.
