Why did I use a cleansing balm for summer blackhead care?

In summer, increased sebum production had me reaching for harsh peeling products more often. I would soften the sebum with a sebum softener before using a water peeling device or a coarse-grain peeling product, but the blood vessels around my nose seemed more visible and it felt red, so I decided to change my routine.

I used HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm for blackhead and pore care. The particles were fine, so it felt less irritating to me than the stronger treatments I had used before.

How do you use it, and what is the texture like?

I spread it evenly over my dry face, then massaged the areas where blackheads or pores bothered me by rolling my fingers over them. Afterward, I added a little water to emulsify it and rinsed it off with lukewarm water.

It is a black solid balm, but it spread softly with the spoon and melted like oil when it met body heat. I also found it convenient that the spoon could be stored clipped into the lid of the container.

Does it remove waterproof products, and did it leave my skin feeling tight?

When I tested its cleansing power with waterproof products, they came off gently without major irritation. I worried that strong cleansing power might be drying, but in my experience it felt moisturized without any tightness.

Does one use remove blackheads and whiteheads?

One use did not completely get rid of my blackheads and whiteheads. I used it for ongoing care that aims to reduce skin irritation before sebum hardens.
