Where is Pho Witch, and where do you park?

Pho Witch is a pho restaurant on the Pyeongchon academy street, open daily 11:00-21:00, and Naver reservations are available. There are about 3 parking spots in front of the restaurant, but arriving around 7pm on a weekday evening, they were already full 🥹

So I just parked comfortably at the Jayu Park public parking lot instead! It's a 5-minute walk away, and after about an hour and a half of parking it came out to around ₩1,900.

I'd heard there was a totally authentic-feeling pho restaurant on the Pyeongchon academy street I visit often, so I went to check it out! Since it's such a popular pho spot, I was already excited before even walking in haha.

Turns out Pho Witch is run by a brother and sister haha. They had a life-size cutout of themselves standing out front and it was so cute ✨ Seeing such young siblings running a restaurant, I have to say — really impressive and cool!!

The interior genuinely feels like you've been transported to Vietnam lol. So much local atmosphere!!! I was just in Nha Trang not long ago, and coming to Pho Witch felt like another little trip down memory lane haha. Even on a weekday evening the place was packed and I was honestly surprised. If you're coming, a Naver reservation is a must ⭐️⭐️

Pho Witch's menu and the 30,000 won drink set

Here's Pho Witch's menu board. They have set menus, and there was also a special drink set: ₩30,000 for 2 menu items + 1 side dish + alcohol. That's insanely good value for ₩30,000!!

There were so many menu items that ordering was actually hard lol. I wanted to try everything 🥹

How do the siblings' pho and smoky pad thai taste?

Yay, the basic vegetables and food finally arrived...! Let me walk you through each one haha.

Even just sipping the broth alone, it's so refreshing and rich, you can't stop slurping. Would be great for a hangover too 👏🏻 Loaded with bean sprouts and meat, so there's plenty to chew on lol. Eating it wrapped with the pickled onions is absolutely delicious! My husband said it's not much different from the pho he had in Vietnam.

My beloved pad thai haha. They piled on the peanuts generously and the shrimp were enormous. Unlike the pad thai I tried in Thailand, this one is tailored exactly to Korean tastes — totally my type! I'll definitely order this again next time I come. Slightly spicy and salty, and so delicious haha. The combo of glass noodles and bean sprouts is the best!

Spring roll and shrimp rolls: which side to order

My favorite, spring rolls ❤️ Packed with vegetables, the moment you take a bite it's so refreshing, and dipped in the peanut sauce it's perfectly sweet and tangy lol. I feel like I could eat 10 of these a day. Loaded with crunchy vegetables, so it's fun to look at and fun to eat — double the enjoyment 💛

Last up, the shrimp rolls. My husband and I, both shrimp lovers, agree this is our top pick 👍🏻 Plump shrimp packed inside, crispy on the outside, and dipped in chili sauce — so good. This is the kind of side dish kids would love too, so I always order it when I come! Absolutely delicious.

There was a cute event too, so I gave it a try lol. My husband has golden hands but got 4th place 🤣 4th prize is a mixed fried platter haha. Nice. The owner stamped our card, and apparently this can be used on our next visit!

So many events and such good food — I had a really great day at Pho Witch today. If you're grabbing lunch or having a fun date on the Pyeongchon academy street, I recommend Pho Witch ✨
