Uiwang outlet café, free weekday parking and coconut coffee: Jeong

Today I visited because I heard that a coffee shop chain famous in Haenggung-dong opened at the Uiwang Premium Outlet. It's such a well-known café that having one open near my house made me so happy, haha! Let me introduce it!

The Uiwang Premium Outlet is a great place to visit on a sunny day. And now a famous café has opened there — "Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters." I'd been to the Haenggung-dong branch before, but having one so close to home made me so happy, haha. Lately the chain has been opening branches in Suwon, Dongtan and beyond Haenggung-dong, but we went to the Uiwang Premium Outlet branch. It looks grand even from the outside! Just come out to the main plaza and head up a little from there.

Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters sits right next to Outback and Shake Shack. So many stores are opening at premium outlets these days, which makes me even more excited. Since it just opened, the store still looks nice and clean.

Menu and prices: coconut coffee, decaf and the pregnancy perk

Here's the menu board at Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters. We ordered an iced americano and the coconut coffee everyone raves about! Since I can't handle much caffeine, I got the coconut coffee decaf. Iced americano is 5,500 won, and coconut coffee is iced only at 7,000 won.

Decaf is 500 won extra! And apparently pregnant guests get decaf coffee for free. Pregnant folks, enjoy that perk, haha. You also get a cute sticker, one per person^^

Besides coffee, they also have the famous fruit sablé, fruit cakes, and organic milk and kids' drinks that are great for children. The fruit sablé is 7,800 won, and the cakes are huge but usually only 10,500–11,000 won, so the prices aren't too bad at all. They even had my favorite cookies, haha.

Coffee sticks, logo cups and T-shirts on the merch shelf

The store was so cute and hip, haha. They also sell coffee sticks, logo cups, cute hats, and T-shirts. I thought, why sell this stuff at a coffee shop? But honestly I enjoyed browsing, and the prices weren't too high either! I really love those little charming items these days, so I checked them out with interest. A T-shirt for 25,000 won is a steal, right?

How does the coconut coffee with 1.11 million cups sold taste?

My coffee finally arrived! This is the signature coconut coffee from Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters, which has reportedly sold 1.11 million cups, haha. I could really tell why it's so famous — it was so sweet and delicious, ㅠㅠ. The coconut coffee was smooth and sweet, exactly my taste! My husband had the iced americano and loved it too, saying the beans were really good — after all, the basics of coffee come down to the beans, haha.

Inside the two-floor café, busy even on a weekday

We visited on a weekday and I was surprised how many people were there. Turns out parking at Uiwang Premium Outlet is free on weekdays! If you have time on a weekday, come and make the most of it, haha!!!

Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters Uiwang Branch is split between the 1st and 2nd floors. The 1st floor gets warm sunlight streaming in, perfect for relaxing. The 2nd floor doesn't get as much sun, but it's great for families to sit and chat, haha. Today was another day of enjoying really sweet coffee and a good time. If you're visiting the Uiwang Premium Outlet, I recommend Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters as a must-try coffee spot :)
