Mia Sageori dinner for two, low-sugar green grape ade: 37.5 Signature

In short

37.5 Signature Mia Branch is a Western restaurant in Seongbuk, Seoul, set inside Seongjin Church and about 8 minutes' walk from both Mia Sageori Station and Gireum Station. After running errands, a couple ordered the hearty American-style brunch plate, spicy ragu fettuccine and a low-sugar green grape ade for dinner, and two dishes filled up both of them. With late opening hours and parking upstairs in the same building, 37.5 Signature Mia Branch is an easy dinner stop on a night when cooking at home feels like too much.

Why we picked 37.5 Signature Mia Branch for dinner near Mia Sageori

We had errands to run around Mia Sageori that day, and decided to just handle dinner while we were out. Coming home after being out all day and then still having to cook felt like way too much. So my husband and I looked for somewhere we could eat simply, with decent atmosphere and good food.

I had a good memory from visiting 37.5 before, so I looked it up, and there happened to be a 37.5 near Mia Sageori. It stays open late, so it seemed good for dinner after work, and we headed straight there. Turned out to be 37.5 Signature Mia Branch — I wonder if the 'Signature' name is only used for certain branches?!

8 minutes on foot from Mia Sageori and Gireum Stations, inside a church building

Walking at a leisurely pace from Mia Sageori Station took about 8 minutes, and looking at the map, it was a similar distance from Gireum Station. If you're looking for dinner near either Mia Sageori or Gireum Station, this is walkable and convenient. The restaurant sits on the ground floor of a church building. Once the sun went down, the clean building exterior lit up beautifully, blending nicely with the tidy Lotte Castle apartment complex nearby.

Parking was available on the upper floor of the same building, which made it easy to come by car! Personally, if parking at a good restaurant is a hassle, I hesitate to go back no matter how tasty the food is — so I loved that parking here was easy. The 37.5 Dasan branch I'd visited before was on the second floor, giving it a view overlooking the surrounding buildings and a park,

Down a short staircase: the cozy window seats at 37.5 Signature Mia Branch

At 37.5 Signature Mia Branch, you go down a short staircase right at the entrance, which gave the place a cozy feel. We sat by the window, and it was a great spot for chatting with my husband while also focusing on the food. 37.5 is known for its brunch menu, so you pretty much have to order at least one brunch dish!

For the rest, we wanted something that would pair well with brunch but also had a bit of a kick, so we picked the spicy ragu fettuccine pasta, marked with one chili pepper. For drinks, we skipped coffee since it was evening and went with a low-sugar green grape ade instead. What we ordered was

What comes on the hearty American-style brunch plate

We started with the brunch. 37.5's brunch menu seems to consistently deliver above-average in both composition and flavor.

Hearty American-style brunch plate

Plump, snappy sausages, soft scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, bacon, and fruit salad were all packed onto one plate, which I liked. You get a good balance of carbs, protein, fat, and vitamins, haha. You can also adjust the sweetness with maple syrup served alongside the bread items, which was a nice touch.

How spicy is the spicy ragu fettuccine?

With 'spicy' right in the name, I expected the spicy ragu fettuccine pasta to pack a strong kick, but it turned out milder than expected. On the plus side, it was generous with beef, and the ragu sauce clung well to the wide fettuccine noodles, letting the sauce flavor really come through.

I also love 37.5's spicy bechet, but since we were pairing this with brunch today, this milder level of spice worked well without being too intense. And today's new discovery was the low-sugar green grape ade~!

Is the low-sugar green grape ade sweet enough?

I usually go for other ades like grapefruit, and this was my first time ordering the green grape one. I wondered if being low-sugar would mean it lacked sweetness, but the sweetness actually came through nicely. It wasn't so sweet that it felt heavy either — just slightly tangy and pleasantly sweet, which paired well with the food. It tasted great despite being low-sugar, so I think I'll order it again next time, haha.

Two dishes were plenty for two people

I actually considered ordering one more dish, but my husband and I were surprisingly full after just the two dishes. Between one brunch plate and the pasta, the two of us had more than enough food.

Not over-ordering from the start and sticking to just two dishes turned out to be a good call. And something that stood out as much as the food was how kind the staff were. I have a memory of the service being genuinely disappointing at a different 37.5 branch I visited before, but this time, the staff at the Mia Signature branch were really friendly. (That other branch has since closed down, actually, haha;;)

Service felt easygoing, and we had a pleasant meal without a single hiccup the whole time. It made me realize that even within the same brand, this kind of thing can vary quite a bit branch to branch.

How the Mia branch differs from 37.5 Signature Dasan

Compared to the Dasan branch, the basic flavors and composition of the food had that same reliable 37.5 feel, but the atmosphere was a bit different. The Dasan branch, being on the second floor, had an open feeling looking out over the surroundings, while the Mia Signature branch, with its slightly sunken layout, had a cozier atmosphere that felt more comfortable for chatting over an evening meal. So depending on whether you're having brunch during the day or a relaxed dinner in the evening, each branch has its own kind of charm.

Who 37.5 Signature Mia Branch is best for

I'd especially recommend this place to newlyweds or families with kids living around Gireum New Town, Mia Sageori, or Gireum Station. You know those days when cooking dinner feels like too much — it's hot out, and just thinking about grocery shopping, cooking, and doing dishes once you get home already exhausts you, haha.

On days like that, it's nice to head out with family and grab good Western food before heading home. During our meal, I noticed a group of older women having a get-together with friends, and a father who looked like he'd come with his middle or high school-aged son — both groups looked like they'd come specifically for pasta, and it was a nice sight to see.

If I ever have errands near Mia Sageori or Gireum Station again and need somewhere for dinner, I'd come back here. It's walkable from the stations, parking is easy, the atmosphere is clean and cozy, and the food has that reliable 37.5 quality — perfect for a relaxed dinner with my husband on a hot day when cooking at home just isn't happening.
