Yuk Lab Yeouido (육랩 여의도점) is a Korean BBQ restaurant near Yeouido Station where the whole place is made up of private rooms, so I picked it for a get-together that got arranged suddenly after work. We hadn't had dinner in Yeouido in a while, and with so many office workers around, finding a comfortable place to meet after work means thinking about the menu, the price, the atmosphere and even privacy, right? I liked that Yuk Lab is all rooms, so you can eat in comfort!

I visited Yuk Lab Yeouido on a weekday after work. Yeouido is full of office workers, so lunch spots matter, but you also end up looking for a BBQ place for dinner with coworkers or a casual drink after work. Since the whole restaurant is private rooms, you can eat in privacy, so it's worth considering for an after-work meetup with colleagues, a team dinner in Yeouido, or even a date!

Yuk Lab's mixed set for 3 costs ₩89,000 and includes jingalbisal (prime galbi meat), sirloin, tosisal (skirt meat), lamb ribs, plus doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) and 10-second cheese. Yuk Lab Yeouido has set menus you can choose by group size and taste, and this 3-person mixed set was the one we had our eyes on! It's a place I want to share because you can enjoy beef at a reasonable price in Yeouido.

Just looking at the meat, you get jingalbisal, sirloin, tosisal and lamb ribs, and I hear it's presented with the concept of "half a cow" at about 700g of beef. It's a great-value price for a generous meal! The side dishes to eat with the beef were neat and varied too!!

Yuk Lab mixed set: the grilling order, starting with jingalbisal

We grilled the Yuk Lab set for 3 in order, starting with jingalbisal, then sirloin, then lamb ribs. The mixed set we'd been waiting for finally arrived! I like tasting a little of several cuts more than eating just one, so the mixed set was even more satisfying.

First, the jingalbisal was a great cut for enjoying that rich, nutty flavor you look forward to in the first bite of beef! Tender, juicy and a premium texture, right?

The doenjang stew included in the set

The Yuk Lab set also includes doenjang stew, so you can have meat and a hot soup together without ordering a separate meal item. When you're eating beef you start wanting some broth on the side, and sipping warm soup between bites made the meal feel even more filling~ It's great with soju too, haha. As expected, doenjang stew at a BBQ place is the golden rule!!

Sirloin and lamb ribs, like a course

After the jingalbisal, it was the sirloin and lamb ribs' turn~ Eating them one after another like a course with a group is fun, because everyone gets to find what they like best! If you're looking for beef in Yeouido and want to try several cuts at once, I really recommend Yuk Lab's mixed set.

The Yuk Lab set comes with 6 pieces of 10-second cheese, so we grilled them last, after enjoying the meat to the fullest. Put it on the grill and in 10 seconds it turns into a rich, creamy bite that melts in your mouth! It's not just meat and done, it was a classy finish!

How was it for a Yeouido team dinner or last-minute meetup?

I liked that Yuk Lab Yeouido's 3-person mixed set lets you taste galbi meat, sirloin, tosisal and lamb ribs all at once, and with doenjang stew (great with soju) and 10-second cheese included, it's a filling set at a good price. For a Yeouido office worker's meetup or team dinner, the big plus is that the menu, the price and the private atmosphere all let you enjoy a variety of beef cuts.

It was a get-together arranged suddenly after work, but I enjoyed everything from the menu to the space.
