Haeundae café lemon madeleine and iced latte takeout: Low & Sweet

The Haeundae café I kept going back to when I lived in Busan

I recently went to Haeundae on a trip to Busan! I lived in Busan for almost my whole life, then moved to Gyeongnam last year right around when I gave birth. Now even going to Busan, even going to Haeundae, feels like a little trip — but the memories come flooding back all warm and fuzzy~

If I had to name the café I went to the most, the one I loved most while living in Busan, it'd probably be this one. Low & Sweet, famous for Haeundae's must-visit cafés and lattes! I went to both the Jeonpo branch and the Haeundae branch all the time,, and when I visited recently, I found there are now two spots on Haeri-dan-gil — Low & Sweet Roastery and Low & Sweet Bakery! Since I planned to take out both coffee and bread, I headed to the bakery.

The kids menu items, milk and vanilla milk, are free!! I was quite the latte sommelier as a kid haha What's a latte sommelier, you ask?? "latte" plus "sommelier" mashed together hahahahahahah my friends just started calling me that lol

I loved latte that much, and I thought Low & Sweet's was seriously nutty with just the right acidity, an insane flavor~~ So this time too I ordered one iced caffè latte, and my husband ordered an iced americano!

What's in the bakery case, and how takeout works

Since the original Low & Sweet spot on Haeri-dan-gil turned into the bakery, the baked goods seem to have gotten more varied? Cookies, madeleines, egg tarts, financiers, canelés, salt bread, pain au chocolat, croissants, and more. How could I just walk past all that,, so I immediately grabbed a lemon madeleine and an egg tart haha

Since we were going to eat on the way home, my husband and baby were waiting in the car, so I asked for everything to go — the staff member was so kind that it put me in a good mood haha The terrace is as pretty as ever, and I spent some time checking out the hidden photo spots tucked around the space haha

They definitely didn't rush the coffee haha Even the packing time for the coffee and bread felt like a point of pride for the ajumma,,

Don't forget to snap a coffee photo here~~ Low & Sweet Bakery, the café famous for its lattes and one of Haeundae's must-visit spots, ended up being one of my favorite memories from this Busan trip, this Haeundae trip. My accommodation was near Haeundae Station, so I'd planned to go in the morning if I woke up early, but I woke up late, so I picked it all up on the way home instead~

Eating it in the car on the way home, the madeleine was thickly covered in lemon glaze, with lemon cream tucked inside — the combination was so good ㅠㅠ I ate it after a meal and wow,, it was perfect for dessert time, and paired so well with the americano!

Egg tarts that are too charred aren't my style, you know? They end up with that eggy smell,, but Low & Sweet's egg tart was charred just the right amount, so it was really delicious,, on top of that the layered pastry crust was also excellent,,

If I go back, I'll buy even more kinds of bread~~ This was seriously a café I went to once a week. All my friends highly recommend it too..! It's a spot locals go to often, so definitely check it out. If you're looking for a café full of atmosphere, go go~
