There's a Tabling queue set up in front of Gilchon Sutbul Galbi Seomyeon Main Branch. We went late so we got in with no wait ✌🏼 There's a big sign out front that says 'we butcher it ourselves.'

The Seomyeon location of Gilchon Sutbul Galbi is really clean. Looking through Naver reviews, I noticed the keyword 'minimalist' coming up, and yeah, I get it!

The seating area is spacious too, and the tables are set nicely apart from each other, which I love haha

There's also a self-serve corner like this :) makes it way more convenient to grab side dishes yourself..! Disposable aprons are there too, so you can just grab one and use it.

The restrooms are ❣️separated for men and women❣️ and just as clean and spotless. Good good.

Since we were in Busan, of course we had to get Daesun soju. After that we tried a soju called 'Busan.' My friend who just moved to Busan said it was her first time seeing it too haha

Most of the seats are also sectioned off from each other, and the table was set up so neatly :) so good

When you order meat at Gilchon Sutbul Galbi, this is what comes out ❣️❣️ The sauces and side dishes are so clean and neat, seriously tidy. The baek-kimchi (white, non-spicy kimchi) is delicious, and there's even potato salad under the pink one... such a great choice for a side dish, right?😝

Gilchon Sutbul Galbi's fresh pork rib platter is 500g for ₩29,500, and it's the restaurant's main, signature dish. I first tried fresh pork ribs in Jeju, and this was just as good. Isn't this a dish that's not commonly sold?! In Seoul, I feel like I haven't even come across it casually (though I haven't specifically searched for it)... or maybe marinated ribs are usually the first thing that comes up, so I just missed it. But at Gilchon Sutbul Galbi, fresh pork rib is the main and signature dish..! It's that good, so I recommend ordering this ❣️❣️

Gilchon Sutbul Galbi's steamed egg is ₩2,900. It's fluffy with a sesame oil and sesame seed flavor?! I mixed it right into my white rice haha

Kimchi pork stew ₩3,900 — how big is the portion?

Gilchon Sutbul Galbi's kimchi pork stew is ₩3,900, but the portion was so huge we left a lot of it;;; because we were already full from the meat, and the stew was packed with chunky pieces of meat and big chunks of kimchi lolol Compared to a side dish menu, the portion is genuinely... great value for the price.

Extra marinated rib platter 270g ₩15,900

The extra marinated rib platter is 270g for ₩15,900. My friend worried we wouldn't have enough, so we added marinated ribs — and yep, it's the familiar taste. That galbi flavor I know so well...!
